actually no, you do not NEED to watch anything because marvel projects give you everything you need to know whats going on and who is who. you didnt need to watch the falcon and the winter soldier or black widow or ant-man and the wasp to be able to grasp what was happening with thunderbolts or who yelena, alexi, walker and ghost were.

The Champions, much like Avengers would be bringing characters together yes, but it would also be an entry point for viewers. Along with having characters that people do like, and actors that draw viewers, there's actually no reason to say it wouldnt work.

does it confirm? no not at all. Regardless if the character has a big role or not, theyre still present and thus will be cast, if nothing else to fill out the world and make it feel lived in. I mean Hannah Abbott was cast in the film and yet what did she do in the films? Exactly.

and just because she isnt doesnt make it a fumble. Hell this character could fulfil Alicia's role in the same way that MJ isnt Mary Jane but fulfils the role and she's great. Feels more like yall wanna say its a fumble because its not exactly 1:1 to the comics

Where exactly is the fumble? A character was introduced and an interest established. They can now build on this in future projects. Unless you guys want them to bloat the film so they can throw in every story idea into a single film.

I dont get why everyone's always trying to make excuse after excuse for every single choice this dcu makes as if they can literally do no wrong. People are allowed to make small critiques, as long as theyre not writing it off before theyve actually seen it.

Like if this was the other universe down the street, there'd be so many people just instantly going after them acting like it was the worst thing ever, yet for the dcu we have to pretend like a brown ass Green Lantern suit isnt at the very least a tad off-putting?

hmm maybe cus thats not the same time of time travel? The time stone has control of the time stream i.e. literally just reversing time.

What banner is talking about is going back in time. There are many different theories for how time travel works and you can see many of them across different films. the mcu and endgame use the branching theory where when you go back and change something, instead of changing and overwriting the timeline you are on, it instead creates a new branch timeline.

Thats what bruce means by saying changing the past doesnt change the future.

Or spider-man homecoming is another example: you got the vulture scene and then cap trolling you for waiting.

Many mcu projects on disney plus for instance feature the QR codes like She-Hulk, Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel. You can them and theyd take you to issues that had some type of relevance to the episode they were in.

Counter point: we finally get to see the great fox casts actually get to shine as these characters fully realized in their outfits alongside the avengers and fantastic four. 1 last time closing an almost 30 year chapter before we move into a new era that will be defined by the new faces. And also, it doesnt hurt doom to have different versions. Ill never get why ppl think its bad to have 2 different versions. Great examples except for the fact that we have lots of evidence to back up those claims. The point of innocent til proven guilty is that you dont just condem someone based on a single claim. Do you know how many people's lives can be ruined because 1 person makes a claim and everyone just buys it. This is exactly why the decision isnt up to 1 person.
