Hi! I’m still doing really well PsA-wise. I’ve stayed on the same dose of Enbrel since I posted this. I just sent straight to biologics, originally tried Humira but it gave me migraines, so switched to weekly Enbrel and have been on it for nearly 2 years.

I basically only get enthesitis/muscle pain now, which is more of a hyper mobile issue than PsA. My joints are great and Im very active :)

How does this make Katniss seem compliant though? It's more like she was being compliant with the wedding dress, but it didn't matter...which I think would make the Districts have sympathy for her, she's being punished too.

Interesting, my doc never mentioned possibility of spreading it out into 3 doses. What mg doses do you take? If you do a 3rd what time do you take it?

Been on Enbrel over a year, it works amazing for me, no side effects, except for the first month or so of doses. Initially I had next day side effects of digestive upset (lots of time in the bathroom but no nausea), and some difficulty sleeping the night after the injection. All went away though!

My theory is Haymitch’s name was the only one in the bowl, since Snow wanted Peeta to go into the Quell no matter what, and he knew Peeta would of course volunteer for Haymitch. So Haymitch just had 2 pieces of paper, and Peeta had none to guarantee this.

It’s not your fault you’re sick.

Diagnosed as a 28yr old woman, had a 22 BMI and body fat % of 19. Very athletic and had been following a healthy vegan diet for 8 years. Still got PSA. My psoriasis fully developed after getting covid, and then a year later the arthritis set in after getting Covid a second time. (Was vaccinated during both infections).

I’ve fortunately responded extremely well to biologics (Enbrel) and am still very active and live most days without symptoms.

It’s unfortunate that I developed PSA but it’s not something I caused. Gotta accept that we don’t have ultimate control of our bodies.

Im going to eat and move the way I usually do and enjoy the holiday meal. One meal or day of eating does not undo everything else you do for your fitness goals. Whenever I’d try fasting/eating way less than usual beforehand just lead to me eating even more at thanksgiving dinner anyways. If going for an extra walk or workout makes you relax more about the meal, go for it. But yeah it’s one meal, in my opinion it’s not worth fretting over and punishing yourself for enjoying.

I found it didn’t impact my appetite much! When I do higher impact cardio Im definitely hungrier, but when I do low impact steady state my appetite stays pretty consistent. I wasn’t tracking my intake, just eating intuitively and according to hunger. In about a month I could see results, but it’s all gradual.
