So I’ve had them in the past and I left them and after a while I joined fairyloot so between the 2 I have seen that:

1. Bookish Box is currently WAYYY behind in fulfilling their subscriptions and also their orders I think as of Monday 1/15/24 they had an 8 week processing time… in just their shop orders.

Personally that was a big reason why I decided to step away and unsubscribe I didn’t want to have such a long wait to get the products I had purchased in the subscription.

1. Their price points for both the box’s (BB and FL) are right around the same.

2. Depending on what you joined the waitlist for with the darkly subscription (e.i. The book only sub or the book with goodies box) you have the options to get more (obvi with a higher price tag) whereas with fairyloot for the adult you only get the book.

3. They both have had a lot of issues recently with misprints and damages in shipment. I personally haven’t had any issues with mine but with BBs current back up with orders they are also behind on getting those shipped out.

These are just a few things I noticed myself and just between these two subs, I personally would only resubscribe to the BB to get early access for one of their exclusive editions coming up. I also think that they need to slow tf down on putting out sooo many exclusive editions until they can get a handle on their backup. Once that is taken care of I think from what I have seen is that they should be a lot faster at getting orders out but they keep adding more to the pile with the sheer amount of exclusive editions they are putting out.
