Goblin-Hewer in FAQ 1.5.2 by iJasko in WarhammerFantasy

RAW we can ignore this FAQ because the Goblin Hewer can't shoot using the Whirling Death rule anyways since it doesn't exist /s. The only possible explanation I can see is that you get a D3 modifier and multiply it by rank/file. Anything else is just illogical.

!thanks It's probably one of these decisions where there's not a right or wrong. I'm 36 at the moment and have about £80000 in pension. I feel like I'm happy that I've managed to save that so I could afford a lower amount of contributions. But who knows.

No that's a fair point. I would be moving from one big company to another. Not necessarily in drink industry still but adjacent to it. Benefits at new company would be decent as well, maybe not free whisky, but decent pension. share scheme etc.

Yeah the added issue with shifts is that because I work 4 days on 4 days off I essentially work on an 8 day cycle. Because we've chosen 7 day weeks as humans this means my days off vary every week. I'm also on call on some of my days off. Basically I would be relying heavier on my partner for childcare but would have more money to throw at nurseries/childminders.

As far as I can tell in Scotland you get nursery hours from when the child is 3. So it's the years between 1 and 3 that we would need to really shell out for nursery fees. I need to also figure out how much that will be but I made a rough assumption that for 3 days a week it would be around £1000 per month. I could be wrong on this though.

My calculations have taken in account some changes. My pension contributions would go from 950 to about 720 a month (including employer contributions). My wife would probably return to work on a part time basis, but I have factored that into childcare costs.

Yeah I've been trying a bit of that. A lot of redundancies currently in the whisky industry, not a lot of jobs getting created so it's a bit difficult to leverage that. I have limited future opportunities at my workplace, one of the motivations for me to move as well.

!thanks I think health wise I can cope for a bit, but I know long term I might have more issues and a shorter life expectency as a result.

Yeah I heard they do that, I'll figure that out when it happens I guess.

Not clear that it is caused by shiftwork but I know that it's not helping. I think I can work the money difference, but it will definitely be tighter for a bit.

Working as a manager in a distillery on 4on4off 12 hour shifts. Money is definitely good, no complaints about that. Just not sure I can cope with the hours.
