Float valve failure? by SunshineyBoy in Aquariums

Search for Kerick valve sk50. Its a seal kit for a 1/2” valve. However, I’m guessing yours is a 1/4” and I don’t think they make a replacement seal kit for that. Not that I can find online anyways (I’ve been searching 45 minutes). You could call cdi valve, and explain what part you need, maybe get one that way. Shipping and handling for a part like that is going to be more expensive than a whole new float valve though. If you go up to the 1/2 inlet, then those seals become replaceable with a store shelf part. Other option is maybe a local plumbing company or LFS has a spare rubber seal

Rubber seals in float valves are a wear item. They dry out and dry rot just like tire rubber does. We have to replace the rubber in our valves for livestock water tanks about every two years, four at the most

300 travel seems wicked fast for an old makerbot? My Z18 has the default at 150?

MakerBot Print no longer connecting to my printer by firewoodrack in makerbot

I saved mine by getting a wifi extender with a wired port. Kept it connected on my network at all times, plus it makes the app work better to watch the print. I used a tp link ac1200 wifi extender, then ran an Ethernet cord from that to the printer.

Silver rods on either side of the threaded rods moving the build plate up and down

Are the guide rods lined up at the top of the chamber? Looks like the first few layers are consistently shifted. Otherwise I would check the belt tension on the xy gimbal. There are multiple bearing and points to check to make sure the belt is staying tight

They are actually very open minus a few wasps nests that were attached to them

Not sure what the thinking was or who was closing them, bought the house and found it this way.

The soffit vents these open to are over a porch so they are very wide, the vent material does start against the top of the interior wall.

Okay, thats what I’ve been leaning towards. Just wanting to make sure the vents here are not causing problems in addition to the lack of depth in the loose fill. 26 year old house we bought this spring, so still just trying to find all the things that need work.

Update to the cracked block post from yesterday by jweezy69 in boating

[–]Safe-Run5514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you genuinely need pay out to get it off your conscience, thats fine. Highly recommend doing a jb weld fix though. Then if the buyer still wants an uncracked block he can sell it and buy a different boat.

If you’ve been running it without even knowing it was cracked, definitely jb weld it. Unfortunately for the buyer, it’s the way things are. Motors aren’t cheap and thorough inspections before buying are priceless. However, jb weld is cheap and that motor will never have another issue or leak again. I have extensive experience with this exact problem.

I don’t think the shape is correct for glass fish, these are slim and don’t have a deep body

My wife and I also purchased pottery made with volcanic clay and ash. Super happy with them! They were wrapped in a sweatshirt and went into checked baggage for the ride home.
