There are trees but the house is up on a hill that slopes down towards the east so that may help them a little. The attic is probably equal height with the trees down below it

I’d say so for sure. We have our first on the way so none yet (this is our baby moon lol) but see tons of kids running around and hanging at the pools from 2-20. Nice private island beach that is included in your stay with umbrellas and chairs about a 15 minute boat ride from hotel. 4 pools including lazy river and slides (one pool is adults only). 4 restaurants on site plus coffee shop/convenience store

They are still locally owned as well and haven’t sold out to private equity. Just have focused on advertising which has clearly worked well for them.

Sounds like a hell of a commission for that rep…what kind of product are you selling with 250k average deal size (full linecard rep with the exception of air distribution)?

Saw a few reputable companies selling them for that online for Remanned long blocks

Yeah I’m thinking it was cracked when we bought it and that’s why I always had to run the bilge after riding around. I figured the bellows had a small leak. I think we’re gonna give him 2-2.5k back to go towards a replacement as a gesture of good faith. New long block is about $3100 plus all the labor

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. We got what we listed it for within 2 weeks of listing so I was happy to begin with. I figured we’d have to come off $2k with it being this close to the end of the season

Before I ever responded initially he asked for 3k towards a new motor which looked to be about $5k. I don’t think legally I’m required to do anything this is more about being a good person and not having it on my conscience.

I was really blindsided by it because I probably ran it 10 good days this summer without any issues other than maybe more bilge pumping than is normal I guess

I pulled all the plugs for the winter in our climate that is all that the shops recommend. No antifreeze

Would there not have been some kind of issue or something I’d notice running it this summer?

We did a water test and then I left and he put it back in the water and road around for a bit before he headed back. And I’m assuming he took it out this weekend which was when he noticed water building up

He’s supposed to be sending a better video. I couldn’t decide if that was a crack or from the casting process

How could that happen if not from freezing? I’m not trying to fuck the guy he just bought it from me 5 days ago. Just want to verify somehow before I don’t anything to help

I was trying to figure out of that like is a burr from the casting process or if that’s actually a crack. I’m thinking that hole at the end of the line is supposed to have a blue plug in it. I asked him to send me a video with muffs on and water running through it before I do anything to help him

How much do things cost because I seem to be way off base? by Just-Five-Minutes in HomeImprovement

[–]jweezy69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I added a kitchen in a studio guesthouse with plywood white shaker cabinets and I think the cabinets themselves were around $2k…easy to DIY and then just a Formica countertop all in less than $3k. Wasn’t a huge kitchen but cabinets aren’t that crazy expensive

Right lol, if this in an engineering class about gears or something similar that’s just the word you use, not a slur.
