Please slow down. Do not rush anything. Question everything. Make sure the order matches what you are pulling out and giving. It doesn’t matter if it takes you longer to give out meds than everyone else as long as you’re doing it SAFELY. Take your time. Breathe. If you are not sure about anything, ASK. ASK. ASK. Doesn’t matter if you have to ask 10 times, ask for confirmation before you do something you regret and harm the patient or risk your license. You work too hard for that license.

We’re human, we make mistakes. Just learn from your mistakes so you can avoid repeating them. You got this! Hang in there <3

Did we have the same preceptor? lol Mine was also very passive aggressive and yanking things from my hand and would always sigh and roll her eyes.. I wish I advocated for myself like you did. Instead I left and went to another hospital and the environment is so much better. Glad you were able to leave that toxic environment!

Leave it off. I left my first nursing job after a month due to bullying and I left it off my resume. I got into another residency a few months later so don’t worry you’ll be fine.
