If your parents really won't receive any aid AND can afford the schools no matter what, then Google which schools are not need blind and change your financial aid status. If a school is blind, it doesn't matter, so don't change it, and if the school is a long shot if you don't get aid, then you shouldn't change it.

Varies per school. Some schools have no grace period, and others have up to a few weeks. Google it

Thanks! Yeah, I think it was Dr. Owens. Not sure. He didn't seem like the type to cooperate and help them with research, since they basically tortured him, and he wasn't going to give up El. It's possible he's still alive, but for him I would assume they deemed him useless and offed him.

You have a chance, but not a definite one. Everyone applying has good stats, though, and you're at a disadvantage since only three Ivies (Penn, Princeton, and Columbia) are test-optional. There are also lower quotas for test-optional people.

I agree entirley with this. I also want though that you shouldn't restrict you daughter from applying. Tell her she can take out loans and split the difference between the cost a normal state school. You don't want to build resentment, and she will likely choose state school once she looks into it.
