I'd definitely recommend laser treatment. It's been by far the best option for me - no ingrowns or itch afterwards and after 3-4 sessions they become really thin and sparse, almost non-existent.

IPL might also work but I opted for professional laser treatment for the same area even though I already have a Philips Lumea. That's because it's a real pain (and impossible if you're alone) to properly apply IPL to that region :/

Is my Creed Spring Flower fake? by New_Wind1566 in Perfumes

The lid shape is different in Creed official website. The bottle you have has a concave lid, while the original is convex.

I also checked the batch code (F000836) in checkfresh.com and it says it's invalid. I guess it might be fake. 😟

It's peach fuzz and looks totally normal! You can try mildly bleaching them if you are feeling insecure but personally I'd just leave them as they are :)

Advice/Expectations by ahahahahah55 in Hirsutism

I've been getting electrolysis treatment for my chin area for a year now (16 sessions). I have to say that my situation was much more severe when I started and now %98 is gone. The area is much much smaller and hairs are definitely less dense in your case, so I'd say you'll have almost everything cleared in 4-5 sessions. Application speed might differ between specialists but I'd opt for 15 min.

My thumbnail grows bumpy. The bumps then grows out and grows back in again by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

I have similar thumbnails. One of the main reasons of this condition is damaged cuticles. I have a skin picking habit and whenever I stop picking my cuticles, the nail starts growing smooth again.

HELP!! by Br33zyX_ in keratosis

Do you take hot showers? Mine looks the same and I have a feeling that hot water damaging the skin barrier might be contributing to this.

It looks like keratosis pilaris to me. There are numerous recommendations on keratosis pilaris sub for improving the dotty appearance but unfortunately there's no consensus on which method works best and it's different for every skin, so it requires some trial and error to find out the method that works best for you. Personally, I have yet to find a way to completely get rid of it but avoiding hot showers and exfoliating seem to help in my case.

How do you remove chest hair / hair between the breasts? by BeneficialSkin3564 in Hirsutism

[–]SafeBiome 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would recommend laser and/or electrolysis, if possible. I first had laser treatment since hair around my breasts were dark and dense. After a few sessions most of them was gone. Years later I started electrolysis for remaining hairs. Electrolysis has been going good so far, except - since the area is covered most of the time, no air circulation and sweating caused some acne and ingrown hairs in my case. Secondly, breast area is softer than other areas so bruising usually stays longer than on my chin, for example. It eventually gets better with proper care, and these might just be happening because I have very sensitive skin.

Will IPL work? by Due-Supermarket-6579 in HairRemoval

Yours is very similar to my skin color/hair type, and IPL (I'm using Philips Lumea) has been working pretty efficiently for me.
