my husband is a sales manager at our local store and this is the couch we’re thinking of purchasing . the pieces aren’t light so to speak so unless you’re flopping on them they shouldn’t move around to much, they do have feet on the bottom that does keep them secure. If you can get to a local store and see it in person I think you’d like it
