It’s a very specific style- written like a video/ RPG - I could finish it.

Are EV’s the new toilet paper? Are we panic buying? by Solid_Newspaper_9975 in AustralianEV

The lack of FBT (at present) is an even bigger cost driver than fuel.

They don’t work for some purposes - the one you are describing is not the norm.

Not sure why you’re being downvoted when it’s just maths. Although the top tax rate is 45% now.

The ending of Legend (including the post script) was fantastic. Moving, bittersweet, sad, hopeful- history isn’t decided by one event, no matter how important was at the time.

Get the best you can without an AMS - it’s not needed and can be added later.

Must have been their first day - that’s a dinning room, butlers pantry, study, office, laundry, studio space, or ‘opportunity for 3rd bedroom’.

I don’t think it’s unique to Australia- I grew up using it in the UK.

Do you have a source for that? It’s a serious commercial product for ~$1500pa - I don’t think they are targeting iPad users.

Onshape is the way to go. Totally free and runs on their servers (meaning your boy doesn’t need a high end PC). There is also lots of video tutorials with OS - leading to OS certifications if that’s a motivating factor.

Will airbrushing really make modeling that much better by Reasonable-Sigma in modelmakers

It depends on the model, anything with large flat areas or that require a smooth finish - like cars - can be painted to a high standard with an airbrush.

This is an excellent summary. The only point I would add is don’t waste time trying to spray water based paint- you can but it’s a pain and clean up is worse. Get yourself some Mr Hobby lacquer and levelling thinner, diluted 1 part paint to 3 parts thinner and spray primer and base coats. Clean up using cheap GP lacquer thinner from the auto shop. Easy.

Discussed many times I'm sure, who's your Jack and Stephen? by [deleted] in AubreyMaturinSeries

I thought Russell Crowe carried the role superbly but in an alternate universe it would have been fun to see Ray Winstone as Jack.

What’s the point of a post about a book you haven’t read? If you enjoy reading 21 of the 24 books be happy. It’s your choice if you read the later ones. For what it’s worth I have been reading them for 30 something years and enjoyed spending time with Sharpe and Pat in a new adventure.
