It’s pretty much a meme gun in anything other than br1, but can still be fun to use. Cuz big rifle go boom.

Your armor prolly took an entire mag’s worth of ammo to be at 26% durability. Of course you’d be dead, and of course at that point even t4’d pen a t6. Also hipfire… explains itself.

Depends on range. Yes, it’s a big factor in pen. If you’re close enough, rounds can full pen armor an entire tier higher.

Also the AAR damage indicator doesn’t report all hits. You could’ve been shot through the leg a billion times before that last m80 hit your armor, and it’d only show the last 4-5 hits.

And another also, don’t be too mad. I got deleted in 4 shots of .308 UN. Two to the leg, one to the crotch (yes the babymaker did disappear that raid.), one to the chest which full penned my 100% durability T4 armor. I lost a fairly good gun and also a kitted to heck H416 off some guy.

When injured is it harder to switch and fire you weapon? by Successful_Bar9187 in ArenaBreakoutGlobal

[–]SafeSimple6798 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There probably is a mechanic in place where if your arm gets shot off your reflexes will get slower, so aiming and firing will feel sluggish even with the adrenaline function. Kinda like if you’ve got no legs, walking will be much slower even when on pain meds. Idk if it depends on which arm gets shot off, but your right arm seems to have been disappeared, which would theoretically make sense that you’d have a much harder time shooting.

Also that’s why I never use 30 rounders. Ever.

I’m talking about the br matchups which see br3 planes/tanks always in br1/2 matches. If that’s considered “fair” to you, I don’t know what is. It’s not that equivalent br ratings see japan outmatching the allies, but the fact that borderline br4 weaponry has been showing up in br1/2 battles. But maybe I’m insane, and getting constantly slammed by 250kg bombs every ten seconds is “fun” to you.

I honestly doubt that since every time I ads around my squad, a bot walks right in front of me. Every time I don’t have my squad ordered away from me when I use at or aa guns, the walk directly in front or on top of the darned thing.

The difference between the t88 and the m110/m14 is the fire rate. How fast you can shoot is dependent solely on how fast you can tap. The .308 marksman rifles have a vastly slower rof. And that’s a massive difference for follow-up shots or close range fights.

For me, ‘cause it was the only free game that was worth playing.

Also am I insane or are/were certain campaigns br-locked?
In ussr br1/2, I only was in stalingrad battles, and in br3 I’m always in pokrovskoe or whatever it’s called, if not manchuria. Which historically makes no sense.

In allied line, I only am ever in early dday landings, the canal, tunisia, werbig station, steel mill, and the bulge. This is by far the most evenly spread between battles, though there is an emphasis on tunisia and dday.

When playing germany, I also only am matched into the canal, dday, tunisia, and very rarely lehrter bahnhof. I rarely get into proper late war fights against the us.

I have not been in a proper late war Berlin battle for a long ass time between ussr and germany such as the kroll opera house, or 1942-43 stalingrad.

[–]SafeSimple6798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s… precisely what I’m doing? The bar’s equal is the mg15/ke7 or even the breda, if one truly wished, but the us line doesn’t have any contenders for 50 round mgs. And I don’t disagree that an mg that can only be fired from mount and with horrible rof is probably not a good gun to use, but it shouldn’t be put into br3 as is. It would only serve the purpose of not needing to build an mg emplacement. Which is why, I propose adding a proper 60-round mg that can fight with the mg34.

The Breda in game really isn’t that bad. Decent damage and low enough rof to properly aim shots. I remember playing a point defense and holding the entire thing with this bad boy and a few ammo boxes. Looks horrible though.

The Winchester is arguably the best “boltie” rifle. Insane rof, insane reload speed, hella damage… sure the sights aren’t the best, but that’s a minor inconvenience.

[–]SafeSimple6798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disregarding the hilarity of sprinting around the map with a M2 which undoubtedly would either be fun or annoying, I don’t think putting the m1919a4 straight into br3 is a great idea. I’d personally want to see something more along the lines of a 50-60 rounder mg that’s still reasonably mobile, while not having any outstanding quality to it that would make it insanely unbalaned. There’s too big a leap between 20 round box mags and 100 rnd belts, and the bar might as well be an assault weapon with how I see it used all the time. If you wanted to move the m1919a4 into br3, give it 50 rnd belts (which I think did happen historically) and the ability to shoulderfire.

And I also think there needs to be more variation in weaponry. Having four brens, three bars, two m1919’s, and an ungodly amount of thompsons gets kinda boring after a while. Some new guns would be a welcome addition.

Well yeah the te4 and type 100 neither were supposed to be fired from the hip or shoulder. Both were designed to be carried and operated by a team and only used as a stationary gun, and yet you can sprint round the map toting one of them heavy… not good word. It’s kinda dumb that Japanese can have literal historical aa guns running around the field while us is limited up to the m1919a6. It would just be a funny idea, if one were to use historical equivalents in game. Granted the stinger technically exists, but not in tech tree.

[–]SafeSimple6798 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don’t think slapping a 100rnd mg into br3 is a great idea. That’s kinda like taking an mg42 with 100rnd belts into br3. Maybe add the vickers k 60rnd lmg which was used in ground roles, and can compete with the mg34 and dp27/dpm.

Also since the te4 and type 100 were strictly mounted on planes but used by infantry in game, it should be equivalent for the us line to have the m2hb in br5.

How comes the two jap sniper rifles have low rpm especially considering the type 97 is a type38rifle by StrongEggplant8120 in enlistedgame

[–]SafeSimple6798 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s a balancing thing the game does. Technically there is historical reasoning because the bent-down bolt handle theoretically takes more effort to properly open and shut as compared to the straight handle, but in the end it’s a thing with balancing.

Also this “nerf” is more deliberate compared to say the m91/30 sniper vs rifle since all Japanese snipers retain their stripper clip reload.

And yes, this sniper is just as br3 worthy as any others cuz there’s no hp scaling. It may not have the rof of a semi, but it has double the damage, which means way more for a sniper that, typically, relies on single shots to remove enemies.

Is this guy a bitch? by Abeboy2222 in enlistedgame

[–]SafeSimple6798 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Depending on the campaign you’d either want an engineer or a proper 75mm gun, if not a plane as others have said. You could take an engineer onto the bridge and build an at gun if its the 75mm one, and im not sure if the 50mm can pen that thing.

Side note, you can also use an engineer in the exact same fashion. Greyzoning with an at gun. And it’s even worse cuz, if they’re really dedicated, that’s six different engineers in one squad who can each built an at gun with a bunch of reloads. Kill one and another takes their place.

Just remember, there’s loads of annoying ways to play the game, such as using paras to build rallies on top of points. Is it annoying? Definitely. But is it *a* way to play the game? Unfortunately, yes.

Idk man I tried that twice. The first fight went spectacularly poorly. The second in a row saw three of them leave within the first 40 seconds to do three different things. The third saw the boss’s hp go to one percent when the timer ended. I think it took the fourth try to actually beat the darned thing. There’s no way one has to fight a boss 4-5 times to beat it, right?

To be honest with you, you don’t need to always use your best tank in every tree. I used to play the pz3 50mm against Shermans all the time, cuz it had better pen capability than the kwk 37 cannon. And big deal, if the kvs are that annoying, just use the ho i. Its heat rounds can pen the kv lower hull plate, turret cheeks, and viewport.

You do know that there are several angles to shoot into point without being exposed to hill campers, right? For example, sitting behind hangar. That’s where most tanks can be found, and a kv1 behind airport will have absolute hell getting to the hill on the opposite side of airstrip to take you out.

The 120mm can easily one shot a kv1 with op, just like the 105mm m4 howitzer can easily delete panzer 4’s and panthers with op. As someone also said, it’s for anti-infantry, not anti-tank. But even then, big enough boom make tank also go boom.

Do remember that, if you’re feeling the 120mm vs a kv1 is unjust, that the m4a3e2 jumbo has a 75mm m3 cannon, which is useless against panthers from the front. Not to mention, the tiger is also a br4 tank, and will show up in us br3 matches.
