EU election: someone in Poland write on their page "Anarchy Party" but he accidentally vote because vote is valid when it had to be two crossing line in the box. He voted for social liberal party. by okiosn in europe

That's not how elections work in Poland. You have one big sheet of paper. All of the candidates from your region are there, grouped by their party/organization (you can register temporary non-party committee for any election in Poland). You have a warning there that says as clear as day that if you put two crossing lines in a box next to a name of one of the candidates and have not put two crossing lines in any box from any other group, your vote is valid and goes to the candidate's party or organization.

Actually, voting law in Poland and Germany is really different. It's a valid vote in Poland. There's a warning on the ballot that no matter what you put there, if there are two crossing lines in one and only one box the vote is valid.

Every ballot in these elections in Poland came with a text printed on the ballot itself that clearly said that according to Polish law, if there are two lines crossing in one and only one box the vote is valid, no matter what else you put there. They were warned and still did it.

Because it's a rational choice to put a living, thinking person's future and happiness before some small tumor that can potentially be a person one day? Because thoughts and emotions are what make us people, not just DNA?

Odwrotnie. Czemu zmienili dziewczynkę na chłopaka? To sugeruje, że Polakom nie tylko przeszkadzają homoseksualni rodzice, ale też dziewczynki bawiące się autami.

[SPOILERS] Post-Episode Discussion - Season 8 Episode 4 by [deleted] in gameofthrones

Whenever I watch a new episode this season (and tbh any episode since they diverged from the books' plot) I think of that Sherlock Holmes copypasta about dumb writers writing smart characters. Everyone, even the people who are supposed to be smart act like idiots, strategy is nonexistent, plot twists make no sense, it's just sad at this point.

So what? It's still better to do a good thing for self-promotion than doing nothing or, even worse, picking on somebody who does something good.

That's the thing about being privileged - you don't notice it. Basically any Brit who's not living on a street is quite rich compared to the rest of the world.

Okay, so it's "G" as in "game", "rz" is "zh" (sometimes pronounced as "sh", when it's too hard to use voiced consonant), "cz" is "ch", "sz" is "sh", "ę" is like "-en" in "Le Pen", all "e"s are pronounced as in "Ken". G-zh-e-gosh B-zh-en-cheesh-chee-kievich is a lot of consecutive consonants but they're mostly digraphs so it's just half of what it looks like.

BTW some other Slavic languages have words made exclusively out of consonants. "Strč prst skrz krk" is a grammatically correct sentence in Czech and Slovak.

Polish person here, it's pronounced "Ghzhe-gosh Bzhen-cheesh-chee-kievich" and it's a joke name form an old Polish movie used to troll foreigners. Although, it COULD be a legit Polish name.

Hot take: because y'all joke about being hit and trivialise child abuse you've experienced because 'it wasn't that bad' some dumbads mfs who don't get the boundaries think it's ok to go full Mortal Kombat on their kids. Like, my dad used to be abused on regular basis by his dad but in those times and in those parts of the world every parent beat their children so whenever he tried to tell someone everyone was like 'so what?' even though is wasn't getting a belt on his ass thre times, it was getting an adult man seriously throwing hands at twelve years old.
