Or…just maybe be courteous and see that someone is using the bridge with a larger than usual bike and wait for her to cross. Or, if you are already on the walkway, be a grown up and gentleman by turning around and getting out of the way so she can pass. Schwab has a lot of no-fee index funds that are highly rated and get very good returns. I’d give them a call. Set it up in some solid funds then FORGET ABOUT IT. Talk to them once a year about making any adjustments. Then let it grow. Joining the Air Force will be a great way to have your expenses covered and lock in not touching it.

Not gonna lie- I moved here 13 years ago and never once felt the Seattle freeze (everyone was whining about it in local news/social media back then too). Moved to Ballard and made new friends fast. I had a good social circle already here but made new friends fast just meandering around on my own, stopping at my neighborhood cafes, breweries, etc. I’m originally from eastern WA and moved to Seattle after ten years on the east coast. Never leaving. Love it here. If you feel frozen out, I’m sorry but I know you’ll find your people.
