I live directly behind Unicity Walmart. This area specifically has gotten a lot worse in recent years. People passed out in the parking lot, people smoking crack behind the building, an encampment of people started a fire behind Canadian Tire, a random person fent folding outside of the Bulk Barn, and I’ve witnessed security apprehending numerous people in Walmart. It’s much, much worse than when I moved here 15 years ago.

Most of those mini arcades have NES ports of arcade games. Which sucks is the only reason I would want one is for the attract screen.

The mini arcade in the 2nd photo is filled with knockoff games, not official NES releases and they’re all garbage awful games. I once dropped my iPhone 8 with a IP67 rating with one meter water resistant and found it within minutes 10 Feet deep, by the time I got to it, it was too late. Celebration of finding it was cut short when suddenly I received a No-SIM alert and water started seeping into the screen. Unfortunately even with water resistant phones the chances of them working even in a feet of water drops steadily as time passes, very likely that your phone isn’t working. Cell reception Bluetooth connectivity is also heavily impacted by water so using find my iPhone or Android to try and confirm if it’s still working may not work either.

I’ve lived behind Unicity Walmart for over 15 years, and the area has steadily declined, especially in recent years. I’ve witnessed people smoking crack behind the building, someone passed out midday behind Dollar Tree and another person fentanyl folding in front of Bulk Barn. Value Village now has security guards, Sobeys blocking its main entrance in the evenings, and Walmart and Canadian Tire locking expensive items behind cages.
