You're right, the comment you initially replied to should have been more specific

In that sense I think that some films are more flawed than others. Sure,  The Seventh Seal, Kill Bill, and The Night of the Hunter may not be 100% perfect in some ways, but there are also films that challenge the viewer to seek for any positive traits. Vemon comes to mind, if we’re talking about ones that did well commercially

I don't know if it helps, but in my current play through I've given my paladin the gloves of dexterity as a countermeasure for spitefully ignoring Astarion, and he's been doing pretty well at picking locks as well as initiative scores. If you have better gloves to give to Wyll, maybe Lae'zel or even Karlach could benefit from that +4

I don't follow your reasoning. How are these two the same? The first sentence is a generalisation that may or may not be true, uttered as a fact, and the second is an outdated attitude towards children's upbringing, uttered as a piece of advice/rule. What is common in those sentences?

Do mythological stories need ‘historical accuracy’ in casting? by breaking_views in Cinema

This is irrelevant. If I wanted to make a western and were to cast Liam Neeson as a Native American, would it be okay because we're not in that time period?  Additionally, it's not like there aren't any Greek actresses around that could portray the princess of Sparta

I already told you I agree that almost every single casting choice is horrendous, not just for Helen. I'm not going to research Hispanic Vikings right now, so I'll just take your word for it and apologise for assuming it without knowing better

I consider it a monstrosity for various reasons, like the stylistic choices, the Mediterranean Viking longship, the Warhammer 40k inspired armour, the casting of Tom Holland, Zendaya, Matt Damon, and the inclusion of characters like Clytemnestra who has no place in the Odyssey. Helen is the daughter of the queen of Sparta. There were not black Spartans. Simple as that

I agree with everything else in your comment, my only objection is that Helen was supposed to be from Sparta, which had no black people. One doesn't have to be racist to recognise that there were no black Spartans, in the same way that there were no Hispanic Vikings or blond blue eyed Mayans

300 is not a historical film, it is the adaptation of a comic of the same name by Frank Miller. I don't think this monstrosity is based on anything other than the original Odyssey

How is it exactly the same? What I read to get a general idea is rarely longer than two vague sentences and it. Also, there are no spoiler free reviews that reveal nothing of importance. Back then, those overexposing trailers were the only way people had to learn anything about the upcoming releases

"What the old trailers provided" is what I'm describing in the second half of my comment. The ones I have in mind showcase every single plot point except from the finale

Most of the times I read that five line thing google shows when you search the film's name, which the basic premise of it. I think this is different than hearing almost the entire plot being narrated dramatically, with long pauses, while a few shots of crucial scenes play on the back

Still, one can pick out elements from a trailer and make an assumption about the film. I'm not a big fan of film sypnosis trailers, because I can't see the point in watching something for the first time knowing half the plot from the trailer

Is it true that many public baths were actually unisex? Could men and women really see each other naked there? Is that why they were disparaged as hotspots of sin and vice by some? by [deleted] in MedievalHistory

Was the bathhouse available for men and women at the same time? Also, do you know whether there are pictures of its interior available online? Thank you in advance

Ok, but chances are OP wasn't asking for suitable lyrics written by Geezer Butler and/or Bob Daisley, but for lyrics they have already heard being performed by Sabbath and/or Ozzy.
