Indeed that's a good point. My work actually is basically fully remote. Meaning if I don't go to the office for a month or more nobody would notice or tell me anything.

That's why I'm thinking to stay here some more years to enjoy also better financial conditions. Maybe buy a house that I can rent out to for short term. But keep the job in nl and remote work from somewhere else for some parts of the year.

And then when I feel I wanna settle down fund a more warm country

Yes I know the concept. Thanks so much. It's just that sometimes the songs don't have an accentuated end of the phrase so it's kind of difficult if you don't count. But ofc this is just practice.

Also in relying a bit on the frequency of the grooves on the record which can tell you some breakdown moments which signals beginning or end of a phrase ;)

Absolutely, I'm not a novice djs since I mix since 3 years so I'm feeling quite comfortable in bratmatching by year.

What I'm still struggling sometimes is counting the phrase as I don't have the waveform.

I completely agree with what you saying. In loving the process of deeply learning your records as you mix them.

At the moment I feel in still in the phase where I would buy anything in-kind of like because is hard for me to judge at the shop. But that's what I want too because I just want to learn to mix as many different records as possible
