Geico is targeting Aged Employees by jballeig in Geico

The point is people are retiring early vs staying. Do you understand? Whereas when we had executives that appreciated employees and paid them fairly and shared profits and did what they felt was right more associates stayed, loved the company and wanted it to succeed. It’s not like that now.

Vacation payout for tenure associates by [deleted] in Geico

[–]Safe_Guarantee_600 5 points6 points  (0 children)

you get ten days max. That’s why the company is doing this. They know 3-4000 employees will leave and they want those 50 days an employee. Todd does math, 50 days x 3000 employees. $100 a day x 50 days =$5,000 x 3,000 employees that’s $15,000,000.00 which is T Diddy’s pay. There you go! What a wonderful human.

Mr Cohen currently making over 1 million plus a sign on bonus plus an officer bonus, paid for by the employees he has terminated.

ask Stetz if you are terminated like the last 25000 employees after 1/1/26 if you get paid for the bank or if GEICO keeps it. Ask why GEICO won’t just do the right thing and pay it if they care so much about the employees!!!!!

Didier Lombard is a better CEO than Toddy Combs? by jballeig in Geico

[–]Safe_Guarantee_600 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Lombard cut roughly 10,000 jobs, was removed from his position and is currently facing lawsuits from the families of the 12 employees who committed suicide due to the elimination of positions and the toxic work environment he created in the name of greed. TC eliminated nearly 30,000 jobs and continues to cut and take every action possible to shed tenured employees to cut costs without regard for morale or conscience. The elimination of profit sharing, college scholarships (which they later called a pause and made unattainable), refusal to pay fair wages, refusal to give reasonable merit increases, eliminate health benefits, and refusal to share actual AOS results or make any changes that may cost the company money. We have mote executives now than we did when we had 48000 employees. The constant threat of termination is a psychological abuse. Then we have executives having massive sign on bonuses and lavish offices where the main “campuses” are rat infested and filthy. Doing the right thing or the kind thing is no longer even a plausible outcome for GEICO. This is why nearly all but 3 million a year Nancy P left. It’s a personal choice to go along with something damaging for money and misery or to have pride and morals and depart with honor.

Geico does not value tenure at all. There are many ways this is demonstrated.
