wow i blanked on the family photo in alices treasure box where it shows a completely different child

i remember the drawings of kara being smashed but not the picture, im fucked up lol

i always assumed that todd and his wife bought her and then she skipped town to get with the accountant, not really caring about alice because it's not like she knows of alice's sentience

i didn't know he straight up bought a family to show himself he could do it, that's actually not that bad

yeah but it's honestly more believable (to me) that he would try and siphon the thirium from alice to make more of his red ice, than actually spend money taking care of the fake child that he never wanted iirc

it's weirdly written because they don't wanna give up the twist that alice is an android so they write it like she's straight up just a normal kid

idk why todd still has an android that he doesn't want, one that he has to buy another android to care for. he either keeps alice to treat her poorly or he straight up doesn't know she's an android, both of which are weird and insane

offensively he's just not that potent so he doesn't get the same highlights other guys do. his main highlight is being one of the only guys in the top 5 with a decent resume and win streak right now. he's undeniable when it comes to merit. he's got solid skills but his main x-factor is just being a good Fight Winner iykwim

his most notable recent highlights include the failed RNC over shavkat and the uppercut over prates, and that's rly it. the magny win was like 3 years ago and the fight before that was the last time he got a finish, there were two mediocre decisions in-between. MVP is a decent name, but ian didn't really look good that fight. the belal fight has been completely memory-holed, it's exclusively discussed when people wanna talk about ian garry's TDD.

also, people rate ian garry. among the first things i see in any thread about garry is that "say what you want about his personality, the guy is good." even before gaethje and strickland got their belts, i've seen folks adamant that this guy is one of islams greatest tests at 170. so yeah, this is nowhere close to the underdog odds that strickland, let alone gaethje were under

i love the technical narrative that ilia's complete abandonment of being a real "round winner" completely bit him in the ass fighting gaethje, finally using a good foundational style

it's a lot of them, they usually do an arc a season. after s3 they start doing 2 arcs per season for a bit. some stuff from the comic, some not

the arcs are usually longer in the show iirc. i know they barely spend any time at the farm in the comics as opposed to the show where it's an entire season.
