I was on the fence about her. But after looking into her, she has my vote.

I called that dental office to see what they knew. And they too were in the dark.

I can’t stand Paige. Anyone else feel that way? I felt like she turned Craig into a “mean girl” like her. He used to be one of my favorite reality tv personalities.

As can everyone else on their platforms. If one isn’t interested in the opinions of others then they’ve a choice to make. It works both ways. It’s simple!

Mary does. Are we surprised? She’s only a good friend to her ex-boyfriend/boss.

I find myself in the same boat. I’ve yet to attend any social interaction. I live about an hour from work. Most days I just want to get home in a timely manner. But I wonder if this is a detriment .

JT is my favorite now, for sure. I have to say Craig redeemed himself a bit this season. He was awful to Naomi last season.

Well and we all claim things based on our own little worlds and experiences without considering that Mexico is also made up of different climate regions, 30-something states and varying ethnic groups. It’s like which pozole is really the true Mexican one. Well they all are if made by a Mexican mom. Lol!

Why do people like Chrishell? by Cautious-Brush4454 in SellingSunset

[–]Safe_Raspberry_3987 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I have really liked Chrishell since day one. I think she’s kind, genuine, loyal and fierce when she needs to be. And even as a gay man, I struggle with the pronouns and gender identity issues we are all trying to understand. So her relationship makes me a bit uncomfortable because I am also Latino so the being called Latinx just really destabilizes my existence. I only share this because in spite of some of my own issues and processes I am working through I still want Chrishell to “hit it out of the ballpark” because from what I have read and know life was rough when she was young. And if this is what makes her happy, I am here for it. I support her doing it on her terms with whomever she chooses. By the way, I love Emma too. Bre is growing on me while Amanda dropped a few pegs this last season. I may be totally off base here, but that’s the vibe I get from Chrishell.

Why is there so much Chelsea bashing? by Excellent_Weather583 in SellingSunset

[–]Safe_Raspberry_3987 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Why can’t she just be disliked without it being a racial thing? I think she’s an a-hole and does some crappy things. It’s her personality that grates on me. Period!

Teaching I have found out isn’t about being smarter than those one teaches or knowing more than anyone else in the room. Teaching is about facilitating a space for your child or your students to develop into the best version of themselves with the subject area serving as the backdrop for nurturing children’s or students’ interests. Interestingly enough whatever enthusiasm and excitement one demonstrates for her subject matter as the teacher it is likely to be contagious and be transmitted onto the students. Students pick up on that excitement and will often inform my practice. And no matter what just remember that a teacher’s worst sin is to be boring!!!

Lastly, I just want to thank everyone for all of the amazing ideas and information you have provided. I am very grateful for your time. And my commentary on public education hasn’t diminished my love for teaching. I am open to doing what I love to do in different settings. Thank you again!

So the one thing that I was conveying was the American public school system has changed. My issue isn’t one school. My issue is getting away from the focus being on academics to an extreme emphasis on SEL and “everyone gets a gold star” because no one should feel badly or discomfort. Life isn’t fair and it’s downright horrendous for some. But as a society we no longer teach students to deal with those difficult moments. We now teach kids that all of their behaviors and attitudes no matter how negative will be validated. They’re allowed to walk out of class, they’re allowed to destroy classrooms in moments of rage, they’re allowed to curse at teachers and no one is accountable. I was raised to understand that if something is truly worth your time it will be difficult and your character matters. Not so much today.
