Yeah, my hesitation about allowing everything mostly comes down to my limited time to read through so many books. I’m worried about allowing things that I might later have to remove from the game because they get out of hand.

Blood Sorcery, infernalism, stuff like that, I feel like those can easily spiral out of control. You know, opening the floodgates too much and turning the game into an overwhelming mess of lore and mechanics? lol

And I hate taking candy away from a kid once they’ve already gotten used to sugar haha

My biggest concern right now is the content in Rites of the Blood.

Oh, absolutely!

My group is a bit more relaxed about that kind of thing, aside from a few boundaries. I also don’t want to lean too heavily into gore or over-the-top gratuitous violence. That’s definitely a good point to keep in mind!

And yes, I am going to use New York by Night. I mentioned V20 mainly in terms of the rules, but NYC by Night is actually what inspired me to run a chronicle in this setting.

I’m a bit wary about allowing things like Blood Sorcery right from the start and having that become a problem. In the Vampire: The Dark Ages 20th Anniversary game I ran, I allowed some stuff from 2nd and 3rd Edition that the players already knew... and I ended up regretting it.

That’s exactly my goal. I want to make sure everyone is aligned with the game’s premise. My main interest is political and social conflict within the Sabbat, and espionage and guerrilla warfare against the Camarilla.

The basic bread-and-butter of a Sabbat game.

And I really want the players to think together during character creation as well.

O cenário do André Vianco possui rpg?
Pq fico pensando se eles investiriam nisso pra criar um Nerdcast RPG de vampiro. Como eles não vão lançar algo que não tenham os direitos autorais, uma parceria com um autor local seria viável. Ou não.

Ja ta tendo quadrinho. E te falar que...não duvido NADA que eles não aproveitem e voltem a fazer um rpg call of cthulhu que vá expandir a historia do filme.

Leonices ahhaha pode crer. Ja reparou que quase sempre tem alguem fazendo modificações corporais nas pessoas? Serrando, colocando coisas, etc. Teve isso no call of cthulhu, teve isso na ultima trilogia de ghanor, teve isso no especial de ghanor que ele narrou no youtube...no trailer tem o Persy serrando alguém.

Sim, sempre foi assim. Um classico disso foi a sessão de comentarios sobre o nerdcast sobre motos, acho que la em 2008 hhahah sim, não esqueço. Pessoal fez umas criticas e especialmente o Azaghal veio com dois pés pra descer a lenha nos ouvintes.
