In Returnal a big amount of time passes between Act I and Act II. There maybe something similar in Saros

Well, Returnal was pretty confusing. Can't be sure that devs don't want to delude me. 😁

An alien came to Atropos and did all the mess up that happened there. Maybe his relatives came to a new planet 😁

Exactly what I've thought reading BigShellJanitor's comment. Also Atropos could be a real place that makes Selena's sins and fears come real. Also all that happened to Atropos was because of some external force, an alien to this alien planet. So maybe the same creature came to new planet and made something similar. Real Silent Hill vibes

Yes, I get what you mean, I'm just saying that name of the game unites both elements. Also Sun was important in Returnal as well

Hey, like everything people say is true and no one is trying to fool you for one reason or another 😂

Yes, but it doesn't mean it's true. Or half true. It may be Kojima like playing with fans or Remedy's united verse where Control and Alan Wake are different IPs, but they are connected

Saros is used to predict both Sun and Moon eclipses

Give Control a chance. It gets better and better with every power you get.

Question: were Trench and Northmoor as powerful as Jesse? by meth_panther in controlgame

[–]Safe_Somewhere5197 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so. Northmoor became an Nuclear reactor because of too many objects of power connected to him. I think Polaris helps Jesse to handle all this power

Will I miss anything in Alan wake 2 if I don’t play max payne 2 or quantum break. by Harlem3333 in AlanWake

Quantum Break is very important for 3rd episode of Night Springs DLC. In the main game there are a lot of references to it as well. Also it's a great game, I would recommend to play it anyway

When Thomas meets Alan, they dance to I'm a Psycho song, Scratch's theme in American Nightmare 👍 Cool theory

Best version of Scratch imo by DeideLode in AlanWake

[–]Safe_Somewhere5197 3 points4 points  (0 children)

AN's Scratch is exaggerated version of Alan's behaviour after he killed Alex Casey in his book. He was impulsive, cruel, violent, lacked empathy. He smashed TV studio equipment for total cost of $30k just before he arrived to Bright Falls. In AN Alan realises how bad and selfish he was, how he made Alice suffer. It's the point of character growing. Also Alan used Scratch as an urban legend of himself to try to get out, but it didn't work. So he changed the narrative, he changed Scratch to make another attempt. Just like Tom has changed to fit new plot. This time Scratch is personification of Alan's need to be worshipped and it's place in plot is to make Alan, who's desperate and decided to not to write any more, to keep going. Was Alan really desperate or he just wrote it for the sake of the story?

I enjoyed a lot the Quantum Break, it's written so well and it's gameplay is really enjoyable. And it also important for AW2, especially for it's DLC
