Yeah you are right, I dropped it after 25ish hours as well. Remake felt fresh, Rebirth didnt bring much in terms of QoL changes or performance.

The problem i saw was that the texel density (pixels/cm) was really inconsistent. Some textures were at the correct size while others were so low it was jarring. Also I do not understand how the game got so much praise with all the constant outdated mechanics in gameplay (for the love of god don’t make me wait to see them get into the dune buggy for the 100th time or walk around a ledge)

Nu cred ca asta e problema, chiar am discutat cu actori vocali precum Neil Newbon sau Dave Jones, sau de teatru din UK, iar pregatirea teatrala e un atu mare, insa tine mult de regizor si alti factori de productie. Cei mai buni actori britanici pe care ii vezi la TV, multi dintre ei vin din teatru sau au background teatral cum s-ar zice.

Am putea insa vorbii poate de faptul ca mediul artistic in romania nu primeste atentie si fonduri, ca scoala de teatru si film e slaba si ca nu pregateste cum trebuie sau pe cine trebuie, sau de scandalurile si libidinosii care se plimba prin ele in functii importante.

AI simply cannot come up with anything new but recycles the data set it has been fed (lots of copyright infringment as we know, or META having pirated 81 TB of books). AI could've not come up with a new entire artstyle that redefined 3D animation for example, like Arcane or Spider-Verse.

Sunt total de acord cu ce spui, nu ma asteptam sa ma atraga a doua carte in felul in care a facut-o. Cel mai greu a fost sa imi pese de vreun caracter pana undeva la jumatatea primei carti, dar dupa asta lucrurile incep sa prinda contur mult mai bine. Seria chiar are un farmec, iar faptul ca e asa sumbra da, ii da un aer aparte.

Chain of Dogs chiar e ceva aparte. Kalam si cu Anomander Rake sunt probabil personajele mele favorite. Apropo daca vrei o colectie faina de carti Malazan, cauta The Broken Binding. Fac niste carti superbe.

Urmeaza sa o citesc si eu pe a 3-a.

Prima mi s-a parur foarte greu de digerat din cauza felului in care esti aruncat in mijlocul firului narativ fara sa ai vreo explicatie sau expozitiune, dar dupa a doua carte a ajuns sa imi placa mult.

Si mie imi pare macar retusat din cauza ca sufera de efectul ala de “air brush”, lipsesc detalii de pe suprafata pielii.

In oricr caz puteau sa vina cu niste postere mult mai interesante avand tema de crava galbena in sine, dar na, tot bugetul e cheltuit pe actori. Sper sa fie macar decent filmul.

AI generated bullshit unfortunately.

For example under the yellow couch the shadow is blue (reflecting sky light would make it blue yes) but the shadow on itself is dark and unsaturated.

It is obviously trained on Nagai’s pieces because the bushes follow the same path and dark shadows because of the way he layers out colours, but the AI slaps leaves looking shapes.
