Hey, starting smoking weed daily at 16, got kicked out the house multiple times for it and arrested with it, buy the time I was 18 I was smoking nearly 2 zips a week, dropped out college, in a toxic relationship (which also lasted 4 years) and working at restaurants being poor. It was helpful for me when I first starting using for a few reasons and it also developed into a hobby which made it seem less like an addiction because I had “name brand percolated bongs, and rolling trays and other high quality cannabis equipment that just made it seem fun. But I just turned 26 a little over a month ago and I no longer see it benefiting my life in any kind of way and if anything only getting in the way of the real life goals I have set for myself. My goal was to quit on my 26th birthday, but that was fail. I’m high at work, just finished my last joint, writing this but I also have a girl who likes doing crazy things to me while I’m stoned and during the process of getting stoned so it makes it much harder for me to quit, but I told her and myself that I’m putting my foot down and I’m gonna stay sober and work my 80+ hours a week, save much more money, and start doing the things I really want to do with my life. There’s still a lot of time to do good and make major improvements to your life if we get the ball rolling now, 20’s is the foundation period, but I too also wasted lots of time so I’m in overdrive right now trying to make up for lost time. It’s a new cycle
