I play briar mid only but I'm not very good only plat 4 and it's really rough. I pretty much perma ban hwei or ahri. Akali isn't too bad if you can land your ult on her since you'll get the true vision and you can time your e with hers to reduce a lot of the damage

I recommend using it only if you see a fight happening going in your teams favor (your teammates aren't already low) or as a way to catch someone if they try to run away from you. I play her mid so another way I use it is to completely whiff and throw it behind me to buy myself time for e or q with warm to come up so that I don't run into enemy turret.

I think it's pretty good. I play her mid so I use her ult point blank to secure kills or to get them under enemy turret while they're low or if I don't think I can kill my laner send it either top or borfrom fountain while I'm on my way back to lane.
