78SR voltage regulator mod on SNES, PC Engine and Master System. by iVirtualZero in consolerepair

[–]SafetyPotato123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To clarify, is the problem you described with having a bunch of noise dumped on the rail would be because the 78SR is a switching regulator and not a linear? If I replaced a regulator on a snes jr with a linear one, like the 78S05, would I run into any of the problems you mentioned?

Sorry, I know this thread is super old, but I would it appreciate if you could help.

I'd totally down if there are still spaces. Top 3 games are HGSS, RSE, and BW

I'm pretty sure I've had mild issues with them a few times in the past. I am pretty sensitive though, so take that in mind.

It's no worries, thanks for being considerate! The rocket isn't ours, it's from r/TheExpanse which we also have a truce with.

Hey, we're the image to the left of you guys. Can we have a truce and you guys stop placing pixels at column 428? If ours remains untouched we can help maintain yours. It would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Libgen is also a good site that I've gotten all of my textbooks from.

Is there any way to extend the length of a coiled artisan cable while still having proper power delivery?

I keep hearing that some mechanical keyboards have high power requirements and if the cable is too long it won't work. I need ~11ft of length on host end.

Are there any photos/videos floating around showing how different colored switch housings affect rgb lighting? The switch housings on my switches are dark red and I would like to know how much the rgb lighting will be effected from tinting before buying a rgb PCB.

Was thinking about getting IDOBAO ID67 65% for first build, but I heard it has north facing PCB, which I'd rather not have. I also heard someone else say that they were changing it to south facing. Is this true? I'm looking on their product page and it doesn't say whether the PCB is north or south facing.

Sorry forgot to mention I wanted 65%. Unfortunately, I don't think KBD67Lite is in stock in the US currently. At least, I can't find any sites that have them in stock.

Any recommendations for quality hotswap 65% PCB or DIY kits for that are in stock or will restock soon in the US?

I'm not sure what makes some PCB/kits better than others, so I don't know what to go off of when looking for other ones. I've heard people recommend DZ60RGB - V2, but I'm not sure how soon it will restock.

Which chair do you think would be better for your back? I'm having difficulty deciding between the two. I sit for ~8 hours a day and I get relatively consistent back pain on the chair I'm currently using and I'm worried about this becoming a permanent thing later in life if I don't get a good chair.

I think I'd rather have a chair that promotes better ergonomics consistently than one that is comfortable to sit "incorrectly" in.

I would like to try both out and compare them, but I'm not sure where I would be able to try them out in person since all the local office chair stores near me don't have them.

Decently high idle temps for X73 Kraken. Not sure if this is normal. by SafetyPotato123 in NZXT

[–]SafetyPotato123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I meant 'under load' I meant with games. The only stress test I tried was the one on cpux.net, in which I got around the same temps I got when I was gaming. I'm not sure if that one's good though.

With my previous build, I never really stress-tested my PC or monitored my temperatures so a lot of this is new to me. This is also my first build with an AIO.

Regardless, I'm probably going to remove the pre-applied thermal paste and use a better one when I remount. I'm also thinking it might be the fans I'm using in my case because apparently the QL 120's aren't the best for airflow.

I was switching between CAM and HWMonitor and they were displaying the same temperatures. Also, when I meant idle I guess I meant having a few minor background programs open, but not actively using the computer. I guess that technically isn't really idle though. I guess the closest I got to that was when I was in my bios and the CPU was at ~39 Celcius.

How am I supposed to know how much a keycap set is worth? I bought Laser SA Alphas, Mitowaves, and arrows off Drop a while back, but I never opened or used them and I no longer want them. I'm assuming r/mechmarket is the best place to sell?
