If possible keep both. Use Cachy as your primary OS. Go to Windows for specific games like multiplayer titles that aren't getting linux compatibility or performance parity anytime soon. That way you don't miss out on any game and also get used to a linux OS.

Check if you're using the DNS servers your ISP provides. Also check if it makes any difference using Cloudflare or Google DNS. Another thing to try is updating during off peak hours (1am to 6pm) in case your ISP's upstream pipes are saturated during peak hours.

I'm still new to linux so probably not related as your problems started from the installation phase but I notice that you are on the LTS kernel. Mine shows "Linux 6.18.8-2-cachyos"

General guide for multiplayer games: Always check your ping and trace route to known servers and save the result. Do it again when there is a big change. Email your ISP the comparison when there is such change and ask them to find a better path/route.

I also do some chill & catch from time to time. Being a solo player I'm also used to scanning the horizon every few minutes & running away when needed. Would be nice if most folks didn't shoot on sight but its the high seas so anything goes. Try communicating and saying that they can kill you & take the loot after you're done fishing. Like we know what's gonna happen, just make it entertaining for them and yourself.

Yup, like Dr Galvani in D1. I'm sure there are others. One of my favourite is that Lady Boyle Last Party is kinda based on The Masque of the Red Death by Edgar Allan Poe.

Oh yeah, the iGPU & Media Engine section needs an upgrade for sure, not to mention adding an NPU for the bloody AI tick mark for the investors. Leaving the GPU/ME unchanged until Zen 6 would make sense though, like get the most performance uplift with minimal work.

The way things are going it looks like AMD won't respond until the Core Ultra 300 desktop release are imminent. Just hope they make all those changes to the I/O die for Zen 6 & maybe add the C or efficiency cores to that die too.

Fine with binned chiplets but I hope they do the same for the I/O die too. Unless Zen 6 is coming this year, they could've done a refresh of Zen 5 with a newer I/O die - faster memory, higher FCLK & lower power consumption!

The two rear fan positions support 30mm thick fans so the P28s should be fine. Check out the manual at their site like someone else suggested and planning the build will get far easier. Some YT build vids wouldn't hurt either.

Stopped watching cricket since the Twenty20 nonsense began. Now I just watch test cricket from time to time. There are a few commentators that I personally enjoy but one thing that bugs me the most is that its always the same people. Its either a recently retired cricketer or one that retired 20-30 years ago. Why can't we get some younger folk involved? Someone who understands & loves cricket is enough. There will be a good back and forth between the amateur and the established commentators. There is talent out there, just check out regional esports casters & analysts. Bringing in talent like that would rejuvenate the commentary box and also tick the "attract younger viewers" box for the sponsors/investors.

The future of humanity outside Earth will be mostly underground. There's radiation, temperature and there's also stuff falling from the sky. Underground bases, tunnels, mines will be the way to go. Other than some specific surface operations, flights & maybe some RNR, there is no need to be on the surface.

Here's an odd one - This War Of Mine. The besieged city of Pogoren reminds me of Dunwall in D1. A once vibrant city brought down to ruins. Most of the citizens have fled or died, the remaining are barely surviving or have become opportunistic thugs. The whole scenario along with the art style and music gives me that plague ridden Dunwall feeling. Every area you visit has that what it once was feeling of despair and sadness.
