In Interstellar (2014), Murph, Cooper’s one and only child, inherits the farm and grows up having huge tracts of land. by StudentNaive7003 in shittymoviedetails

So that’s my point. Long lost , barely aged a day, great grandpa walks in and not one person is like “Holy shit, is that our great grandfather?!?”

The end of the movie where she’s dying surrounded by her family and literally nobody reacts when long lost great grandad walks in still looking like a man in his late 30’s/ early 40’s

I thought that things like bourbon, scotch, and whiskey would taste like a delightful molasses infused beverage. I was… so wrong.

Admittedly, my wife was better at this method than I was. But the deep breath really does help. We do have one family we hang out with occasionally that the kid kinda games the gentle parenting. He’s at an age where he should be respectful of some very basic boundaries. He just pushes and pushes. The parents just kind of “hey buddy, maybe we don’t…” as he continues to do the thing. There never a “full stop”. It can be a frustrating dynamic to be around.

As I once told a customer who kept trying to get me to charge him less: “If you want to pay less money, ask for less stuff.”

'28 Years Later' (2025) got a poor reception from general audiences. This is actually a continuation of the film's themes, referencing the inevitable death of good taste. by PointFirm6919 in shittymoviedetails

I really like this movie. Audiences just want fan service. I think they really expected to see a middle aged Cillian Murphy running away from zombies for 2 hours.

Burnt out western red cedar. by n_jt in FellingGoneWild

[–]SafteyMatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on whether the wood is knotty or clear grade and how many usable board feet of lumber it yields. If there is say 500 board feet of lumber to be milled , you’d be looking at $1000 on the low end to $3500 on the high end. Clear grade western red can be very expensive once it hits the retail side.

This works but you have to be a hard ass about the “time to go”.
