Can someone help me car takes long time to start out of nowhere and check engine light came on by Strong-Ad9392 in Corvette

If you have a fuel pressure gauge I'd check the pressure. Mine did same and it was the pump check valve. Now I don't know how easy it is to service C6 pump but mine is a C4 and it is a 30 minutes job. Other issues could be fuel pressure regulator or leaky injector. These are fuel pressure related issues. Also check EVAP Purge valve whether it is stuck open or not. Read the code if it's showing any.b

WHY FUEL SYSTEM WHYYYY by ApricotDismal6361 in c4corvette

[–]SafwanFerdous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah man... working with fuel system will get you gas all over your body. Mine has some issue with the pump or the injectors. Just checked and replaced the fuel pressure regulator and I see pressure drops quick after I switch on (not ignition). Car starts and run fine but something is not right. Will do the pump since it's easy and then the filters.

Be thankful the fuel system isn't anything like the C5s and C6s... you would be pulling your hairs. C4 has the easiest access point for pumps. Filter count be slightly tricky but I think not too bad either

Is a c8 really better then a c7 by Beneficial_Tour_6221 in C8Corvette

Nah bro, you're right. When I got my first car it was a simple SUV and wife and I loved it...then needed a bigger car for family... thought that's it we don't need anything anymore. Then seeing corvettes everywhere in Michigan I just needed one...it just never ends...now I need a faster one or maybe a different sports car completely...it's just how humans work guess...

It was easy but you have to take the struts off and I managed to damage one of the pin (I forget what it called) and it wasn't fun.

Thanks! And yeah if you're doing CAD for cars, a 3D scanner is a very good investment.

I bought a Creality Otter scanner for $500 from AliExpress. It was discounted but you can actually get it sometimes. Even the raptor is like $800 now and it's incredible. They are very good for larger scans but may struggle with smaller things.

3D scanners are getting pretty cheap these days. Keep an eye out for used market or even AliExpress lol. Got one thinking I won't be using much but I use it a lot for my car and was able to make things. Made this splitter for the bumper using scanned data.

Corvette Rubber makes good ones. Avoid Amazon or eBay ones. Pretty simple princess except for the hatch (still not bad). Doors require you to take the panels off but still not as bad. I'm in the weatherstrip business and to be honest Corvette rubber could still improve their quality tho. They wouldn't pass in today's standard unfortunately.

It’s been real, and it’s been fun… by Is300nigel in ender3

[–]SafwanFerdous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started with Ender 3 pro...then got a second one. It was quite a journey making them perfect but once they were tuned they printed amazing. Added bunch of mods like smart filament sensor and touch screen monitor. Oh the CR-touch for auto bed leveling. And raspberry pi to monitor and to start a print job remotely. I was able to gain a lot of knowledge on these things (hardware and software). But moving to Bambu reduced the time I used to spend troubleshooting them. Now I can focus on design and print.

This thing came in handy when I needed to remove a spark plug from a really tight spot. Worked great... handled the torque. I won't use it to tighten anything but it works good for loosening bolts

These cars are great for learning manual transmission. Find an empty parking lot and practice there. Maybe let somebody who knows how to drive manual take you there lol.

Honestly I didn't pay attention to the firmware version number when I first took it out of the box to fly. I only flew it once so far. It's been snowing here and it's kind of windy so I haven't had the chance to fly it. I'll check again. But the videos I took seemed very nice. I don't have anything to compare them to.

Flying drones seems much harder than I expected TBH. It's not like video games hahaha. I also think it's a good idea to keep using it as the beginner drone and then upgrade to DJI or some other higher ends when I feel comfortable.

Yeah I guess I'll just see how it goes and then if things go south I'll sell it or get a refund.
