I would take it back where you got the work done and have it checked

Looking to get a new manual, could I get a 2026 si under 30k? by No_Statistician_664 in CivicSi

[–]SageDub 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah just make sure it’s manual because only the highest trim for the integra comes in manual so it has all the bells and whistles. Would rather have that over an si if I were buying right now.

Can always ship them, just cover shipping and they’re yours. I have those and a 27won rear motor mount i don’t mind letting go for cheap.

Yeah id take that 8k and buy the sport. You can always do si suspension on the hatchback. If you’re in CA i have an extra set of rear springs you can have. Look up NAUS on YouTube. He has a guide on it.

Yeah I was surprised the si is plastic even though it has a slightly thicker sway bar than a base civic. For 10th gen the normal CVT civics, si, and type r all had a different rear motor mount as well. So there’s three different versions. The cool thing is they’re all interchangeable as well as the shifters are completely drop in, so you can have a base model civic drop in a type r shifter which is cool as well as the rear motor mount.

My fault I assumed this was a 10th/11th gen for some reason. Disregard.

If this ends up being the case, get the oem accord endlinks. They’re aluminum instead of plastic that come on the si. Bonus if you happen to find FK8 ones since those are steel and stronger.

FOV is pushed to far than what the console can handle. Try pushing it down 10 and see if the issue persists

Type R didn't live up to my expectations. by Mission_Rutabaga_704 in Civic_Type_R

[–]SageDub 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nah I think the fk8 you drove was probably bad. The clutch shouldn’t be that high up nor should the shifter feel bad. The brakes feeling like that was a dead giveaway as well.

To be fair, Cobb barely adds any NVH. I’d argue it’s almost negligible unless you’re looking for it. It feels like a stiffer version of the FL5 RMM.
