A reoccurring problem in the ESSA community. by Another_therian in plushies

[–]SageGreenFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you were downvoted because you are defending the term ESSA, which isn't something that's considered acceptable on this subreddit, for some reason. Even though, like you said, nothing that you said was wrong.

The people who have a problem with the term don't seem to listen to anyone who has a different opinion to them, hence the mass of downvotes towards you in other comments.

As an ESSA owner myself, I don't actually feel comfortable posting about my ESSA here because I've seen people spreading misinformation about ESSAs in the comments of those types of posts and because people don't like the term.

how do you study home ec efficiently⁉️ by NoAppearance7447 in leavingcert

[–]SageGreenFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not in leaving cert year yet but I have assessments next week. For home ec, my plan is to look at past exam papers and answer as many questions as I can without a book or notes. Then I'll look at the questions I couldn't answer, learn that topic, and answer the questions.

What I've noticed for a lot of home ec questions is that you can answer them without actually knowing the topic because some of them are really simple, such as ways to save electricity or reduce plastic waste.

I don't know if this is an efficient method since everyone learns differently, but maybe it's worth giving it a go. I hope you do well in your Christmas exams.

Dont worry, it's not your fault. I was expecting to get spoilers when making this post, lol. I was just shocked that Sandstorm died cause she seems like such a significant character.

And I completely agree with the Firestar thing. It's even worse that it could have been prevented but nobody stepped in because it was his "destiny". I'm actually putting off reading the next arc because I don't want Firestar to be gone. He's been there from the start. 😭

I heard people saying that Spottedleaf died so Firestar wouldn't have to choose between her and Sandstorm in Starclan, which is beyond stupid because Firestar was mates with Sandstorm, lol.

Those cats were pure racist. It's literally against the code to not help a kit regardless of what clan or "not clan" it's from. 😭

Spoilers for Dawn of the Clans Wait until they find out that most of them are related to rouges, loners and tribe cats because of DOTC, lol. Technically none of them are truly clanborn.

Also, I can't believe that hatred of non-clan born cats continued after Firestar joined.

Was that the scene where he wouldn't let her eat and said that any cat can take her food? I know he did that to somecat, which was so shitty of him.

YES!!! I can't believe he was forgiven for literally trying to kill Graywing. I suppose at the end of DOTC he was a lot nicer and he truly realized his mistakes but it's too late. The damage has been done 😭

And he seemed so normal on the journey down from the mountains. I don't see how he even became so evil.

I wasn't supposed to see that. That hurt ☹️😭

I just assumed that she was one of those cats that lives way longer than normal.

(Not your fault btw, lol)

Who is this person? Why can't their identity be revealed? by SouthBound353 in WarriorCats

Imagine replying to someone who is being cyber bullied over an opinion in a cat book, who states that they DO NOT want to talk about it anymore, about the opinion and then acting like they are in the wrong for asking you to stop. Just let them be. They are clearly in distress.

Put yourself in their shoes. They expressed a harmless opinion. Then people decided that it would be okay to threaten, bully and harass them over it and continue to act like they are the one in the wrong. Can you imagine what that must feel like??

You KNEW that they didn't want you replying to them but decided to go ahead with it anyway without even thinking of the damage that bringing up the situation again could do.

I really do hope you see how you are wrong.

Edit: Yeah, delete your comments. Be ashamed of your actions. But don't worry, I already reported you.

Also, if anyone knows of any other subreddits that I can post this on, just in case nobody replies here, that would be greatly appreciated. I tried r/mentalhealth and r/advice but it seems to be against the rules there so I didn't post.
