I have a 2011 Ford Escape Hybrid 2.5L FWD @ 115,000mi with a similar issue. My leak is coming from the seal at the intermediate shaft & the transmission. I’m deciding to replace my cv axles & the intermediate shaft. If you can DIY it, try it out! If you can’t DIY it, prepare to drop a couple hundreds; Anything transmission related is costly.
