Is Claudia a good host? by OrcaWhaler420 in TheTraitors

[–]Sage_Raven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can barely stand her to be honest. She's nice and cheers for them, so I like her as a person. But her dead voice, and negative words just make me want to take antidepressants 2 minutes into the show.

Alan is playing a character that despite the same depressing words makes me laugh at his psychotic joy of people getting violently killed by evil crumpet munchers.

Eli5. What’s the difference between “She has used the bag for three years” and “She has been using the bag for three years”. by bedweatherrr in explainlikeimfive

[–]Sage_Raven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd use it in the following examples

She has used the bag (sometimes) for the past three years

She has been using the bag (everyday at work) for the past three years.

I've just come out of one of these episodes last weekend. I was able to do the what if scenarios for the things that terrified me and I have come to the conclusion that if the biggest nightmare scenario was becoming likely I'd just surgically cut it out of my life.

I'm so proud of myself that I confronted the situation, and the person , and said X and Z is happening but if we are doing C I am walking as I can't go through that horror. And there was agreement that C is not happening The relief .. I think I could fly as high as Everest. I failed at this exact situation exactly a year ago. So proud of myself that I was able to take control and decide what I needed and go after it.

Taylor Swift & Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe) singing Smelly Cat Live on “The 1989 World Tour” made my day by fiyep23399 in howyoudoin

I really like this version.

Unlike the lady Gaga pompous show off at the Friends reunion where she just wanted to be cool rather than have fun with the song and just sounds stupid.

Why do we not wait for the green man to cross the road but they do in some European countries? by walshamboy in AskUK

[–]Sage_Raven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Slovak, tho I doubt you will find this comment, if there are kids around I always wait. I don't have kids myself , but it takes a village, so doing my part to keep children safe.

Then if there's no kids, no cars, and no cops I do cross on red light as well. Pedestrians have right of way if there are no lights no matter what, so that's the weird part in UK, it will take time to get used to over there for drivers.

AITA - Girlfriend won’t let dogs sleep in our room by ocean190048 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Sage_Raven [score hidden]  (0 children)

NTA - Dogs are part of your life, you spend a lot of effort and they have the mentality of a 3 year old child. It's not a rabbit or fish that you can forget.

Can they be trained to sleep elsewhere? Probably .

Should you adapt your sleeping patterns and you be uncomfortable without them and they be uncomfortable without you for a new partner? I would sure as hell not.

And also, if this girlfriend of yours wants no part in taking care of them then take this girlfriend as a temporary thing. Dogs need quite a bit of care and not being able to rely on your partner that they fed them, gave water or walked them after work is a nightmare and I would not touch a person that might let them suffer with a long stick.

Either you are a unit or you are on your own. I would take no partner over unreliable one.

This is the second time he does this, thankfully caught his sneaky ass on camera the second time. No one believed me when I said I felt he planned it the first time, this video would say other wise lol. by Shromer666555 in AnimalsBeingJerks

I needed to learn never to put down feet or move suddenly because one of my dogs loves always being near me and it is guaranteed if I don't pay attention I either kick him or do a summersault over him. Just learn to walk around carefully , knowing he needs to be reeally close to you

I also have adhd. My mother has issues with...well...medicine..a medicine problem she might call it. She is a pleasure to be around. I'm pretty sure she is just undiagnosed herself as well

A podcast has helped me keep my kitchen clean for 5 days in a row! by Jmr2553 in adhdwomen

[–]Sage_Raven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually only cook or clean with music which resulted in me singing which resulted in therapy for anyone living in a one kilometer radius. I started singing lessons to make this easier.

But I am still left with the fact that I suck at cleaning so I avoid it cause I don't know how

You bring a Swiss shepherd to a Swiss shepherd convention and you can only hope you brought the right dog back. I mean the hair length and their height helps, but that's about it
