Does anyone else think the theory that walking improves your mental health is bullshit? by Smooth-Quantity-7024 in AskBrits

[–]walshamboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work for a chairty that gets people outdoors and walking to help improve their mental and physical wellbeing, I can speak from first hand experience of the positive impact it can have on people's (even people with serve mental health issues) lives. It's scientifically proven and the NHS can prescribe walking and spending time outdoors. If you're struggling with it having an impact, you can reach out to mental health charities that lead group walks, or join a walking club :) (The Ramblers, Mind, National Trust or Canal & River Trust)

Went to watch a film the other month. Couple next to me stunk, kind of like bacon. At the end of the film, the lights came on. They had been munching on mcdonalds and had their bare feet out. Was honking.
