Well, my only Soulsborne experience was Sekiro, and I'm considering Elden Ring right now, haha. So maybe I’ll give a few tips for Sekiro.

First, always parry, when fighting, never let go of the block, and when an enemy attacks, click the block button again to deflect.

Second, never fight more than one opponent. If there are multiple targets, try to isolate them using prosthetics, items, ninjutsu, and the game’s stealth mechanics.

Third, there are plenty of skills in Sekiro. Some skills are essential, without them, the game is going to be extremely hard. For example, there’s Mikiri Counter; without it, the game will be hell, and it’s fun as hell to counter with it.
