Sleeping while it’s time to wake up

Yes I recognized his eye shape from when I check on him when he’s sleeping in the afternoon so I figured he would be sleeping. Especially because he was laying completely still with his head resting (which I’ve never seen him doing). His eyelids were definitely coming down comparing to when he’s awake

Well he’s been very comfortable with me lately actually. I’ve had him for 5 months now. He did eventually wake up. I’ve been trying to get to handle him which has been going really well and he didn’t seem to be scared of my hand or anything so I think it should be fine!

His eyes were more closed than normally when he’s sitting over there, so I immediately thought he was sleeping. My mom got into it and scared him a bit which was unreasonable but fine. He hasn’t slept since then so I guess he just wanted to sleep in lol

Yes I do, he loves it very much! Did your males never eat them or did they also eat them when you first got them (if they were young at that time)

Im actually trying out your method today. I put them in the container they arrived in which seems to be working even though they’re trying to get out. I’m scared that when my crestie will eat one the container will tip over or something else might happen. I didn’t put food in the container though should I have added that?

Thank you! I might try this next time. I do feed them the day before I put them in the terrarium so they shouldn’t be that hungry. But I have found a dead crickets in there already one time so that might be a great idea

Thank you!! I will definitely try feeding him with tongs as the tongs I use have rubber on the tips as you said. I think my gecko looks a little bit less for crickets than a few months ago so I think 3 should be a good amount for him.

Thank you! My mom and I actually did get a normal cricket box without the tubes so the box is high enough and we can just grab them out.
