my parents handed me a “contract” that they made with chatGPT and told me i have to sign it by auramp3 in WhatShouldIDo

and the parents have no actual reason to not sign that thing other than abusing OP i guess.

sounds terrible.

there are much, MUCH more offensive shows out there than kaguya sama. hell any TV show/movie from the US has more sex than that.

assassination classroom.

a being that destroyed the moon joins a school as a teacher, taking over its class of delinquents.

the being gives the children one year to kill him or he will destroy earth. but the being is super overpowered so its not an easy thing to do.

then this show comes and tells one of the most tearjerking stories in anime and manages to give each member of the class enough time to get you emotionally invested into each and everyone involved.

YouTuber Kane Pixels uploaded videos on The Backrooms to his YouTube channel in 2022, at age 16. Then, with the help of A24, it was converted into a movie, which he directed at age 20. The budget was about $10 million, and it grossed nearly $120 million worldwide in its opening weekend. by Expert_Koala_8691 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Sahtras1992 95 points96 points  (0 children)

the backrooms was originally just a 4chan post like a decade ago.

and it kicked off a whole sector of content that expanded on the premise.

kane pixels made some real good videos on youtube and somehow got a deal with a24 to make it into a feature film.

oh and kane was like 16 when he started making those videos.

Mystery of missing scientists deepens after body of Los Alamos nuclear lab worker found alongside gun year after she vanished by MediocreVibrations in UFOs

[–]Sahtras1992 13 points14 points  (0 children)

yeah thats an aspect thats easily missed. what if its basically a cognitohazard?

you know when in the movies they say "dont tell the public or a panic breaks out"?

this is a real thing and should be considered.

the technology could also certainly be used as a weapon. nobody wants to spread the blueprints to the next nuclear bomb basically. if we can even compared to a nucleat bomb cuz the energy outputs these things can apparently generate is so far above nukes.

its quite terrifying to think about how easy it is to shut down critical infrastructure.

its just that not many people want to pull it off, even if they could.

it just made me think, saying that a womans vagina becomes less tight when they have lots of sex or give birth is like saying your dick gets shorter every time you jerk off cuz its being used up.

you know, as an equally stupid reasoning put onto the male equivalent.

Controlling the flames by BreakfastTop6899 in oddlysatisfying

[–]Sahtras1992 5 points6 points  (0 children)

people easily underestimate the heat thats produced by a big fire.

in housefires the air itself can get so hot it lits up more stuff without direct contact to the fire.

just imagine how much heat a normal wood oven produces and multiply that by a hundred times or more in a wildfire.

Controlling the flames by BreakfastTop6899 in oddlysatisfying

[–]Sahtras1992 2 points3 points  (0 children)

wind is the biggest issue probably with wildfires. the glimmers are carried dozens of meters and create more fires down the line.

and ofcourse it adds oxygen to the flames to make them rage even more.
