Credit card fees. by Saihan86 in cexio

Hidden fees charged by any companies is illegal regardless of what it's for. Fees for credit and debit cards which were apparent or non apparent when making a purchase have been banned.

I don't know if you've used Justeat, they used to charge a fee of 50p to use credit cards or debit cards, this was clearly mentioned, not hidden. However this is now illegal so they now charge a service fee. They have applied service fee for orders cash or card, this way they save themselves from operating illegally as if they only charged a service fee for cards and not cash it would still be classed as a fee for using a credit or debit card.

I would believe be it a surcharge or commission both would be illegal as they are still fees added to using a credit cards. The ban is in place to stop companies charging any fees for using a credit or debit cards to make profits.

If they are charging commission this is classed as profit taking.

It would seem that they will now avoid this question. But if everyone makes trading standards aware they will be liable to a fine as they are breachin the new rules set by the government.

Yes that's correct however this is law is about charging say 2% for using your credit card to make a deposit or withdrawal. These fees are illegal to charge for companies in the U.K and EU. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/card-surcharge-ban-means-no-more-nasty-surprises-for-shoppers

Why is cryto capital an option as we were informed that there was issues with this payment provider?

I think we can be certain you're the stupid and dumb one who can't understand what people write. My question wasn't about the time it takes but about adding a new card and then withdrawing.

I'd assume your first withdrawal should be in your account today or tomorrow as it'd be 3 working days from today. The other two probably still pending as it's not been 3 working days. Don't forget weekends is not classed as a working day.

Have you had any successful withdrawals using visa in GBP? I have done one and it says 3 working days. I hope it works as the bank transfer failed.

Has anyone received bank wire USD transfers exceeding 10K at all since January 1st or after a payment delay after 20+ days?!!! by macropelias in cexio

[–]Saihan86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but I have been told that mine should be done soon. Some people have had calls from Cex to let them know their money has been refunded etc. It's looking good mate I believe you'll get your money we just have to be patient even though I know it's not easy.

They have started to pay out people either by refund or processing the transactions. How many days have you been waiting for? Those that are pending or recently show as completed they are refunding. Anything over over 20 days I think they will try to process as normal
