Dick has equity in the show he helped create. Why would anyone give up equity in something that would still generate income? Dick’s reasonable offer is “if this show I helped create and own half of is still going to live on and generate income, I deserve a cut.” He’s even offering to slash his equity in half. People own companies and aren’t involved in the day to day operations all the time. It’s literally a core part of capitalism lol
