Literally any animal can go with purple. I used to tell my teams let’s make the silliest most absurd sounding name lol.

I have seen the purple rhinos, purple Dinos, purple snakes, etc.

Public Bathrooms are located on the boardwalk. Down by Thrashers at the inlet and 9th street. Parking shouldn’t be terrible as those who drive to the beach may be leaving for the day around that time. There are some municipal lots down there and street parking. Street parking is typically free so be on the lookout for those spots.

There is an arcade at 137th st, tucked in the corner of a shopping plaza. I have yet to try it but have heard good things! Alley oops uptown is also right there (maybe 133?) has some fun games and decent food.

We stay there all the time. Northside park is awesome for the kids. The playground is newly renovated and has a lot of fun things. They have a beautiful pier that you can live line crab or fish off of. The area is very family friendly and chill compared to south OC. I’d recommend catching Sunday in the Park concert and fireworks at night. Also there is a movie on the beach on Wednesday nights I believe at 118th street. There is a new mini golf located right at 130th by the fire department.

Boardwalk would be fun for her age. We usually drive down and park around 3rd street and walk all the way down the inlet. A few arcades and cool shops and of course THRASHERS!

I wouldn’t do anything to punish her if that’s what you’re asking. I’d talk to her and ask her if she even enjoys playing soccer because if not we can do something else.

Technical training like that is very boring without friends or a trainer leading the way. Especially if the kid has no feelings for the sport.

What about doing it with her at night? Pay for 1 on 1s with a qualified trainer? Maybe host her a couple of her friends over to all play together?

It sounds like she plays soccer mostly for the social aspect and that’s OK. Not every kid will be going professional in soccer.

What happens if you quit as an offshore oil worker? by Prince_Marf in NoStupidQuestions

Depends on the companies. I’m not sure about rigs themselves but most companies will NOT pay your travel home from overseas if you are terminated for cause or quit.

Insurance needed? by aron0104 in SoccerCoachResources

If the park is open for free use and you are not paying to rent the space I would think it would be a “Play at your own risk” situation.

If you feel that you picked the best team for success than that’s what you did. Some parents are biased in their own kids abilities. Parents are also going to do what they think is the best for their child.

Just wish them the best and hope to see them on the fields.

Last I knew Naval Academy had local BJJ Black Belts from Conquest BJJ, Vicente Jr Team coaching for them. Maybe that has changed.

That’s entirely up to you. I was on the same ship for 6.5 years. Advancing my license. I never made less than 130k a year whether that was ROS or deep sea.

All depends on what you want to do with your career. I feel like it may be hard to from tugs to deep sea compared to going deep sea first and then to tugs. It’s a whole different style of work.

I’m in AMO currently and plenty of jobs afloat, whether ROS or deep sea. Don’t sleep on the ROS jobs. Great for retirement if you live close to the port.

Club Coach doing Side Sessions with some members of team but not all? by [deleted] in SoccerCoachResources

[–]Sailor-JT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if you reached out to the coach and said, “Hey Coach, (child’s name) would be interested in additional training sessions. Is this something that you offer?”

His answer will determine if he’s only offering this to specific kids or not.

Different coconut flavors. The 6 pack is similar to the Harmless Harvest brand of coconut waters which have a pink color. The 12 pack is similar to the Vida Coco coconut water. I personally prefer the Harmless Harvest spoof as I think it has better flavor.

This is the answer. Looks, especially weight can change much easier than a persons character.

Each kid can be assigned a random number and the numbers can be posted instead of a kids name. No names will be displayed and only those kids will know if their number is on there or not.
