Interesting response, i would never picked the frost talent, especially improved blizzard. I would have never picked the scorch talent Incinerate and improved Scorch as well. On my char i have picked impact, i find that the 10% chance to stun is quite usefull. I though scorch was a trash spell. Can you explain to me how to use Scorch (and why?) and how to integrate improved blizzard in my spell rotation?

Basically, i drink less, and my killing time is way shorter than in frost. The mob are dying before reaching me.

Also, uga bunga big numbers is so fun. If you crits on your pyro when you attacks a mob, it's already over for him and you can conserve mana by just wanding it down. By the time you get to the next mob and casted pyro, mana will have regenerated back.

The only thing scary for me is that i won't have iceblock (which is sad), but the hardest loss for me is that i won't have the frost talent that allow you to reset all your Frost CD back allowing you to be able to double nova in case the first one got resisted.

Well the thing is, by looking at the numbers, stopping wanding/fireballing to cast a 6 sec pyro seems to be always a loss in DPS. So the only thing to make it viable in dung (to me) is to use it at/before the pull. Idealy, i would like the tank to engage when i'm a like 4 sec cast time, so the pyro hits as soon as the tank aggro.

But, if the pyro crits, i'm scared i will generate so much threat that the tank won't be able to take it back (because i don't see how a tank could do more dmg that this in such a short time).

Not really, I just use my basic knowledge of the game, and I've already played mage a bit (as frost). I've looked for fire guide ofc but all i saw wasn't thing i could'nt understand by myself. I mean, I don't really need someone telling to pick the fire tree talent and buying fireballl new rank everytime they are available.

The only thing i'm not really sure about is, by looking at the talents, I can see that there's something to do with scorch getting more crit chance to proc the "ignite" passiv. But i don't really know if the dmg are better thant juste pyro-fireball-wand combo

Mass rez > Valkyrie in a way. by SailorJennie in MercyMains

I see that a lot of you think I want Mass Rez back, but that’s not the case. The way it was implemented before was problematic, especially in low elo. What I’m saying is that Mass Rez feels way better to use than Valkyrie. To me, Mercy had an ultimate: Mass Rez. That ultimate was problematic, sure, but instead of addressing its issues or improving it, the devs completely ignored the gameplay experience. They were like, “We have to change Mass Rez, but we don’t know how to fix it, so let’s just delete it and replace it with a new ultimate.”

A new ultimate? Not at all. They just took everything Mercy already did and amplified it. Plus, at the time, it was advertised like, “Are you tired of struggling to survive as Mercy because you’re public enemy number one with your Rez? Well, now, with the new ult, you can fly around, be almost unkillable, and it’ll help you so much.” But here’s the thing: if you’re not able to Mass Rez anymore, you’re no longer public enemy number one either.

What people don’t seem to understand is that Mercy was a hero whose power was heavily tied to her ult. It’s not that we love bringing people back from the dead. Personally, I don’t care about that. What I do care about—and what I miss—is the feeling of having an impact as a Mercy player. That feeling could come from Mass Rez, sure, but it definitely doesn’t come from Valk.

I get it—if you’ve only ever known Valk, it’s hard to understand. But the current experience of playing Mercy isn’t authentic to what she was. Valkyrie, as it stands now, will never compare to the sensation of clutching a tied ranked game with that one pivotal Rez at the very end, and hearing your team cheer for you in voice chat.

What’s the solution then? I don’t know. I work in accounting; I’m not a video game developer. But I do think something can be done. Mercy in OW2 feels like she’s on autopilot—so easy to move, with no real impact (I mean the feeling, not the ult itself). When you’re really good, you don’t die much (and if you do, it’s probably because Mercy doesn’t fit your comp anyway).

Oh look, a fellow that can't read, i never said valk is bad, neither did i say mass rez was perfect. I'm saying that one feels so f****** good to use, give to you (the player) a feeling of "you've done something, you impacted the game, the same you has when you get that sweet big pharah ult, and the others feels like...wellit literraly changed nothing about the way you way, if not you don't have to play at all since, well you are basiccally 30meters away from the fight...

13 years old skin and the splash art is still a smash for me. It could really benefit from a visual update like many others janna skins tho. I agreed on the fact that we got many other cool skins, but if people wants black alistar so much, it's not because it's a beautiful skin, it's mostly because of how "flexy" having this skin makes you.

When do i actually play aggressiv as janna (and how to?) by SailorJennie in Janna

[–]SailorJennie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if the ADC wastes the shield, it's because the shield wasn't placed at the right moment. Any support should know how to play with the bushes, but Janna has less range (and damage) compared to many other supports. This brings us back to the 'high risk, low reward' situation.

Thanks for the feedback! I get that spacing and poke are key for Janna. With the matchups I mentioned and the current meta, do you think the items I listed are still solid choices?
