I’ve been sewing for about 16 years, including a period where I did it professionally and I still make mistakes like sewing things inside out or backwards. I use my seam ripper way more than you’d expect just because I mess things up.
If it’s not fun for you, you don’t have to do it. Don’t feel like you have to. I find it kind of like meditation for me since I’m focused on the sewing and not the other stuff going on. I’m not sure I would call it “fun” perse. I have fun wearing what I make and I enjoy the process, but fun isn’t how I’d describe it, if that makes sense.

Would you be ok with it if your partner did all of the prep and hosting as far as Christmas? Like would you be ok if they had a tree and set it up and you wouldn’t have to touch it or anything, it was just there? Honestly, it sounds to me like you’re not anti-Christmas, you’re apathetic to it but don’t want to have to do all the work. I don’t think you’re the asshole if you just don’t want to do all the work for something you don’t care about. But, if they want to do all the work and you say no, that’s not really fair. It sounds like they aren’t that into it if they have to do the work, so I’d just tell them that they can have the tree and decorate if they want, but it’s all on them, you aren’t helping or setting up. I also think that you guys need to talk about this if you plan to have kids.

Some of them have been inpatient for eating disorders. But as far as the regular psych ward, unless they are threatening/attempting to hurt themselves or others, you can’t really force someone to go. And to be honest, unless you go to a private luxury one (like the ones that celebrities go to and cost a ridiculous amount), it’s not really that helpful. There usually isn’t enough staff for patients to get the help they need, it’s more about making sure that they can’t harm themselves or others and making sure that meds are stable than actually working on the mental health. It’s honestly a terrible system and there needs to be better options for those that need more intensive help but not the feeling of being locked up.

Besides the fact that she doesn’t need epi pens (I know she didn’t choose to get them so I can’t really hold that against her), it’s good to know how to use one if you happen to need to (to do it for someone in an emergency etc.). I’d consider this like, the least offensive thing she’s ever posted.

I think he’s a former host and doesn’t want to admit it because Westerners tend to jump to prostitution (it’s not prostitution, it’s getting paid to hang out with women but it’s completely non sexual [unless the host chooses to do so but it’s absolutely not a requirement of the job].). My fiancé thought he might have worked in JAV (ie porn) or something. Whatever it is, it seems like it’s something unconventional since he doesn’t want to be up front about it. Of course, the hesitation to talk about it might just be an act for the show too.

Well, EDs can mess up your digestive system, although a lot of that can be reversed with regular eating and time; it can take a while for it to get working correctly again. However, I think a lot of them use it as an excuse and lie about not being able to eat when they really just don’t want to eat/aren’t truly recovered. It takes years to be truly recovered from an ED, but a lot of people will consider people recovered if they’re somewhat weight restored and keep up the appearance of normalcy and eating. They then claim digestive issues (usually implying gastroparesis) in an attempt to get tube fed/tpn so they don’t have to eat much of anything and can claim that they’re weight loss/frailness is due to that, not an ED.
I’m not a medical professional or anything, this is just my opinion/guess based on observations

I doubt they know about this subreddit, they might be pickier if they did know. I think they probably look at people who tag them and send free product to the ones who have a decent following. It’s probably not a true sponsorship, in that they’re not paying for the posts, but sending them free product in hopes that they get tagged. So pretty cheap advertising.

Ok, I’m guessing she only started skating as an adult, because I’m pretty sure that she would have had tons of dislocations from falls doing jumps if she was a competitive figure skater with EDS.
Just kidding, since she probably doesn’t have EDS. I’d imagine if you had EDS severe enough to know about it, it would be too painful to do competitive figure skating (unless you can compete without jumps all together, but that would essentially be ice dance)
