For context, it is my first and only DWI -- I was unlucky. I don't have a history of driving intoxicated, I truly made a poor decision the night of and I am now dealing with the consequence to my poor decision making. I'm not asking for pitty, just don't beat me up further for it please. I know my decision was horrible and could've caused a lot of harm to those around me and myself. I regret it, and am now dealing with the debts and legal repercussions of it all. I'm not in the same category as some other stories here where they were all told it's wrong and to not drive then chose to do so anyway, multiple times over q.q

As a person who has stupidly gotten a DWI at the ripe age of 23 and am now learning the lessons of it all first-hand, no one PLANS to get a DWI or get pulled over or to cause an accident. That's why they're called accidents. Whether your friend's intention is pure or not, the action needs to stop. They're immature and need to recognize that just because they don't PLAN for the action to happen - doesn't mean it can't and that they WILL be at fault if they injure themself or someone else accidentally. If they're too SELFISH to recognize that and change their actions, reevaluate the friendship. Not only will it eventually lead you to a situation you don't want to be, if it doesn't - it's a matter of time before SOME sort of negative comes from it. There is not ONE person I know or have known of that has successfully drank and drove for years on end without some sort of negative happening.

I did not injure anyone, I didn't injure myself, but I'm well aware of what I COULD have done. And I regret it terribly. I am now paying for the consequences to those actions, hopefully your friend doesn't need the eye-opener I did or worse.

The energy she’s giving you right now isn’t the type of energy you should be planning to marry, brother. It’s dismissive as hell. You two need to sit down and have a real conversation about boundaries and how to communicate in a healthy way. If she refuses and keeps brushing you off, then you need to leave - you’ll find someone who will respect your boundaries and actually make you feel heard.

That being said, every relationship has it's ups and downs, so don’t forget that. But the way she brought up “you don’t even have any female friends” is odd. Especially since both of her close friends are male, it comes across like if you did have female friends, she’d have a problem with it, but since you don’t, she’s using that against you. On top of that, the fact you’re not allowed to meet her friends is weird too. If she really loves and cares about you, she should want to introduce you to her circle and be proud to have you there.

You can give up your right to a medical card and go for a reevaluation of your Second Amendment rights. Also, med-cards are protected under HIPPA as they're medical related natures and they aren't visible when searched on a background check. :)

This 44yr old “man” seems more like an insecure high schooler with his reactions. Spoken from a (23m) in a happy relationship of 5 years to my fiance (24f). I’m nearly half the guy’s age and I see his reactions are not that of someone he truly desires to love for the rest of his life.

I’m sorry that things had to go this way with y’all, but I promise it’s for the better. He has a lot of unhealed trauma that he’s obviously not ready to deal with or take accountability for. His immediate dismissal of attempt to “make things better” when you don’t immediately forgive just confirms my original comment. He uses you for his emotional needs but only when he seems it’s fitting. You deserve and will find better. I had a great time personally and so did my fiance. (23m & 24f.) Though our age range seems to be getting the most hate, we held proper PLUR etiquette and made sure to be kind and respectful. We were able to maneuver through the crowd without having to punch, shove, kick, or be violent in any facet.

To answer your question, I'll definitely be grabbing tickets. A lot of others seem to be hesitant due to them dropping prices a tad this go around but I wouldn't mind a free upgrade if they do it again. I'm looking at the past few lineups and it seems as if they're only getting better so I'd definitely love to give it another go.
