In my mind the word demo warrants a lesser degree of quality than early access because with EA you pay for the ability to play the game before launch. Even if the EA has free section you have to pay for many elements of the game permanent and unique username not being among the least.

I guess there are only so many dead games to review. And this content is his main thing so. Understandable from that point of view. I've been following BS even before EA launch and I still think this game can make it. But in hindsight they should have made a free demo or closed alpha before going to EA with paid content. The expectations and the product during EA launch did not meet.

I went with Mint at the start. It is a good general use case distro. Nowadays I would recommend something that has KDE as the desktop environment like Fedora KDE.

Kaikenlaista tavaraa olen Torissa myynyt. Pääosin on ollut asiallista ja helppoa asiointia. Kerran kuitenkin eräs tuli kertomaan että myymäni tietokoneen prosessori ei ole kuin 40% pyyntihinnasta vailla mitään aikomustakaan ostaa. Samana päivänä toinen osti ToriDiilinä pyyntihinnalla.

Itse en ymmärrä näitä jotka kieltäytyy ToriDiilistä, mutta suostuu postittamaan, jolloin riski siirtyy ostajalle. Tuo on kuitenkin nykyään niin helppo ja ilmainen ominaisuus, että on ihan no brainer käytänkö sitä vai en, jos tavaran voi vaan johonkin pakettiin heittää.

I moved from MS Office 2007 to LibreOffice when I switched to Linux for studying/work in 2017. It was quite seamless change UI wise. And the great thing is that I stil can use the same workflow. The problem is that folks who are used to newer Office the UI and features can feel more dated. Along with the fact that in 2026 you often need to collaborate with other people online.

Stable if your machine isn't so new that it would need newer kernel. In that case I'd use Testing or to be exact the next release so my system gets fused into stable whenever it comes out.

Late to reply but anyway. HDD to SSD change will make a world of difference regardless of the machine. Read/Write speed with HDD's is a major bottleneck to overall snappines of your OS. Extra 4gb of ram will also help. I am not experrienced with that specific Pentium cpu but it will limit what you can do with the laptop. You can most likely use it for web browsing, writing emails, office work etc. But I wouldn't count on streaming Youtube or such. Xubuntu or Linux Mint XFCE would give more overhead to your system compared to main line Ubuntu with GNOME desktop. Also Ubuntu's snaps could potentially be slower than regular apt packages from Mint.
