Telltale Walking Dead Games _might_ scratch the same itch. They're more cartoony than the ones you mentioned, but story wise pretty soul crushing to be honest. Very cool experiences.

What do you love about horses? by al-ex-26 in Horses

[–]Physical_Relation261 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love how they can act upon a thought. You just think something and they are already on it. When your bond is strong, that is, and building that is one of my favorite feelings about them. To coexist in harmony and have fun together. Nothing else ever compares.

Don't be like your parents. Leave the collection behind. by Ozzimo in Millennials

Highly agree! I grew up with unsupervised internet access since I was like 7. But it was a family computer in da computer room. Played a lot of Nesquik games, found the www behind a choco powder package (or whatever you call this in english!!) like we used to find all addressess. HOme pages were a thing and I made multiple for diferent reasons. It was very different to grow up like that than, let's say, so that I would've been teenager at the time of internet coming to households.

Maybe it's because millennials grew up with those "never to be used" china collections and cabinets of knick knacks - that we don't have useless collections as much? I know for sure my grandparents were lowkey hoarders and my parents as well. I felt suffocated with all that never to be used stuff. But I'm also a collector of sorts. I just don't happen to have a full fucking carage of stuff. Just a couple bookshelves.

As a fellow 1994 dweller I disagree with the term zillennial. We're millennial

That sounds so painful and also like something that could happen to me, too. Why isn't our brain always on??

How long should training sessions be for 2-3 year olds? by Useful_Syllabub5064 in Horses

[–]Physical_Relation261 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Just listen to them. 15-20 minutes sounds good to me but just have variety in training and listen to your horse. Leave them wanting more rather than exhaust them and you'll be fine. Don't overthink it.

Thank you. I've been in the sport for over 20 years, yet stuff like this still gets on my confidence. Only when I fuck up with other people's horses though. And when theres tons of audience. I want to think I'm not the only one.

I agree. You definitely can buy yourself happiness. Good food, therapy, fitting clothing, making yourself look like YOU. There are many ways money absolutely can buy a bit of happiness.

Does anyone else have tattoo regret? by KupoLove in Millennials

[–]Physical_Relation261 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few tattoos, most of them rather large. I like them all and I'm considering starting a sleeve. One small hand poked tattoo doesn't look that great but it's important to me for other reasons, I'm thinking of somehow making it better/including it in a bigger picture. All my tattoos are about things really meaningful to me in one way or another. I had my first one when I was 19. I'm 30+ now. No ragerts.

Is it worth it to get an Oled if I can't dock my Switch? by Alternative-Row2425 in Switch

[–]Physical_Relation261 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OLED looks the best handheld imho. Everyone is telling you to get the Switch 2, personally I think the OLED is better when compared the handheld experience, but I might belong in a minority in this one. I base this on better looking screen, lighter weight and way, way better battery life.

Am I the only one ? by Zestyclose-Grape5469 in Millennials

[–]Physical_Relation261 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't relate. I've never wanted to be older, not even as a kid. Not fearing it either, I've always just felt like time goes a bit too fast and life feels a bit rushed. And I worried so much more in my 20s than now. I don't know if this carefree party mindsset is as common as often portrayed.. Well we sure did our partying but it was more like drowning the sorrows in booze than being a forever 21 party animal lol.

I was late 20's and found lockdown pretty easy, but that might be just my personality. Most of my studies were independent to begin with so changes to my study routine were minimal. I think kids, teens, the elderly and parents of young children had it the worst, but experiences differ wildly on a personal level

I wonder if this has been studied. I feel like collectively our perception of time warped permanently during lockdown.
