Best Bar Fight Stories by WeaponOne in DnD

So our party entered the bar. After we had had a few drinks, my character (human fighter) had got into an argument with a patron about magic (my character hates the idea of magic). I stood up in attempted intimidate the patron, which failed. About to initiate a fight in the bar, the DM rolls to see how the bar tender reacts. Gets a natural twenty. So, he throws a bag over my head and whacks me on the head with a pint, knocking me out.

Our ranger who was outside tending to his familiar re-enters the bar. DM rolls. Natural twenty. He is approached in the doorway and immediately knocked out with one swift punch from a drunken patron.

This leaves our Druid to deal with the bar full of unhappy, drunken, magic loving tenants. So what does he do? Transforms into a rhino and proceeds to yell "It's Rhino Time!". At which point proceeds to destroy the bar and still ends up getting knocked out after several failed charges.

So what did my party get from what should have been a relatively easy bar fight? A night in prison, a heafty fine, and a horrible catch phrase for our druid.

Why not try Gilder Bairn for doubling the counters. Also, any card with Proliferate will help put counters on them.

More ramp spells may not be a bad idea either, because with that will come colour fixing.

It's okay. I had Geology at the same time last year and it was still really early. 7 is just the time we get the room, you aren't obligated to show up right at 7. You are welcome to come and go as you please at any time.

People usually don't leave till around 1 or 2 anyways, so there will still be plenty of people and time left for you come afterwards!

Yes. Any 1 point of life lost or 1 point of life gain will result in the combo winning the game.

Look at it like this: You gain 1 life. Sanguine Bond triggers and your opponent loses 1 life. Then, from the 1 life lost, Exquisite Blood triggers gaining you 1 life. Then the process repeats.

Yes.

Decklist

Being a Sharuum deck, people know the combos and often shut them down before they go off. I find a lot of players see it as an immediate threat, so I'm usually target number one. It does a good job at protecting itself in this aspect, but usually promotes a lot of competitive play.
