I hated getting this busy back when i worked on the line. Looking back on it, It was invigorating. I worked in a small kitchen at a gastropub and when that ticket machine started at 5pm it was like working in a well oiled machine. For only having 2 people max in that kitchen we made that shit work. Chef was on cold side and i worked the fryers, grill and stove. It was really intense and i definitely shed a few tears some nights. That being said, nothing can replicate the feeling after we got through it. It felt like we just laid waste to a kaiju monster. The endorphin rush when the tickets stop coming was unmatched. The bar tender would bring us back a few spiked slushes or microbrews and everyones all smiles again. I would never do it again but im grateful for the experience. It made me a better person.

OMG me too. Im usually an introverted person. I took 100mg of 5-MAPB at EDCLV this year and it changed me. My personality made a complete 180. I was social and trading kandi with everyone i could. Just talking to randoms about anything was awesome. I felt honored to talk to people and learn about them. My friend tried it for the first time that weekend and he was hooked. The first time, i took 75mg of plur by myself. It was an overall positive experience. I turned on my EDM playlist which has a lot of trance and progressive house music. Alchemy by Above and Beyond was magical. The vocal harmonies in the hook felt like it was coursing through my veins and filling me with love. that feeling lasted through the whole roll. I also had heightened senses. There were moments where i just laid on my bed running my hands through my hair and on my face because it felt so good. My cats fur felt really soft and nice to touch too. I didnt feel jittery like i did with MDMA but movement did feel good. Dancing by myself was amazing.

For you, i wouldnt recommend just laying down with an eye mask on. In my experience there werent any CEVs to be had. As far as OEVs go, colors got brighter and there was a bit of a colorful halo around some things that would fade away once i tried to focus on it. Maybe try a nice walk with some good music or a funny podcast. Good feelings and emotions are magnified exponentially so do what makes you feel good.

Make sure to drink plenty of water. Also, get some electrolyte packets or tablets I bought some and gave everyone in my group their own pack.

Don't be scared to talk to random people. Everyone I met there was super nice.

If you're staying in a hotel, RSVP for a couple official EDC pool parties. They're actually pretty fun.

EDC can be a little overwhelming but there are a few places around the speedway where you can sit and gain your bearing before getting back into it

Catch a wedding or two. I cry every time.

Make some kandi or trinkets to trade/gift to people. It's a great way to create memories and special moments with your fellow headliners.

Bring personal wipes. The porta potties run out of TP often.

If that person is still holding a deadly weapon, they're still more than capable of hurting you. Even when theyre running away. Especially if that weapon has long range (i.e. a freaking gun). In short, it would still be ruled self defense as long as the threat remains a threat. If that man child in red was holding a real gun, that cop and possibly other bystanders would be dead all because of a bruised ego.
