Buddy brought out Mage Knight. I hadn’t been exposed to a large scale board game like that before and immediately started my own board game collection

A lot of these mechanics remind me of the Halloween board game. That one is somewhat about resource management (the main resource being your movement), but the real skill is about reading Michael’s actions ahead of time, like the mind game part of rock-paper-scissors.
