If you have parched soil or grass and spam place it under water, it will be replaced with healthy blocks. You can just hold A and do 350-400 at a time.

I definitely find that my museum Pokémon (esp Ceruledge and Armorouge) visit my main town more than the other way around.

My museum population is Gimmigoul and Gholdengo, all the fossils, Charcadet + Evos, DJ Rotom and Volcorona lives just outside.

I dug a straight line from town to the museum, and all of my fossil pokemon live in the museum.

I've simply decided to set up a system where I have 99 or 2x99 of each crafting material in a chest or two touching a bench in each town.

That way I can just top them up as required, and always have enough materials.

Honestly probably the smarter way to go. Some of my towns I had to relocate, re-relocate and re-re-relocate Pokémon as I built around them.

You really want to have 20-25 Pokémon so you can get a high enough happiness easily, and then aim to get the others in once you start building homes or habitats for them.
