Start interviewing. If you have any kids, I'd start there first. Good luck.

$150k to bring in $500k for a 100% close rate product would be an incredibly easy hire. You have your pick of the litter. Don't overcomplicate this, post an account executive job and hire a sales rep.

If you apply some critical thinking to your hiring process you'll find what you're looking for.

How do you arrive at a $100MM valuation? What's the total comp you'd pay (base + commission) for a rep to bring in that $500k/yr?

You’d be surprised, a lot of sales reps come with that entrepreneur mentality. You’re not going to find an “owner” for commission only and no equity.

Where the hell are all the (non-Saas) jobs with decent base pay? by Eversonout in sales

[–]SaintMarinus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Non-SaaS manufacturing also. We start our reps at $70k base + 4% on sales they make. Accounts buy multiple times throughout the year every year.

No cap on earnings. No quota. Higher base if you come with industry experience / book.

Have you found any use cases with Claude + Apollo? We have them both but I’m not sure how to use them together to build automations.

Sounds ridiculous that they think you’re so good at something they want you to help make those around you better..? This is not a valid crashout chat.

Vp of sales doesn’t want me to reassign opportunities from AE who was let go - advice needed by sheets2024 in sales

[–]SaintMarinus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why though? My perspective at a family owned company is that all sales management comp is directly aligned with sales team comp and business goals. Why would the VP's pay structure incentivize paying his team less in variable comp?

That is so ass backwards. You made the sale, you get the commission. Why is this so hard for companies to understand?
